After the actor, 72, survived Friday night’s eviction, he made no secret of the fact he had been hoping to leave, sharing his surprise that MP Michael Fabricant had been evicted instead of him.
Despite his housemates ᴀssuring him they were pleased he had stayed, Mickey told Big Brother in the Diary Room that he had been ‘trying his hardest’ to leave.

The judges were in the middle of debating who the mystery performer could be when Mickey deciding it was too H๏τ to stay in costume, and he was over it anyway.
‘I wanna take this off right now,’ Mickey informed show host Nick Cannon, pulling wildly at his mask as everyone nearby begged him to stop.
‘Gremlin, you can’t do that!’ Nick insisted. ‘It’s not that part of the show yet!’
Calling in the show’s Men in Black for help, he went on: ‘We’ve lost control! It’s the Gremlin’s show!’
As the panel begged him to hold on, Mickey instead yanked off his mask and whipped it into the studio’s seats, grinning.
Nick then asked him why he’d agreed to do the show, to which he quipped: ‘I was in the neighborhood!
‘I do like the show. I’ve watched like, four episodes. When they asked, ”Would you be interested?” So I watched from the very beginning and all that s**t, you know.’

During Sunday’s show, Mickey was shown in the aftermath of the first eviction telling Big Brother: ‘They [housemates] seemed happy, for some reason. I did my hardest to get out of here.
‘You know, I always went against the machine, and I don’t want to go through life, like, with a clenched fist any more. I spent my whole life like this, and it gets hard. It wears you out.’
The following day, Mickey got his wish and was able to leave the CBB house – yet rather than being evicted he was removed by show bosses after ‘further use of inappropriate language’ and ‘instances of unacceptable behaviour’.

While JoJo attempted to defuse the situation and Chris ᴀssured Mickey it was simply a joke, the actor exploded: ‘Don’t eyeball me’.
‘Don’t f***ing eyeball me. You c***’ he went on, as more housemates continued to try and calm the furious actor down. As tensions boiled, Chris said: ‘F***ing stand there’ before Mickey was told to go to the diary room ‘immediately’.

Big Brother reminded Mickey that this was not the first time he had been spoken to about his ‘offensive and inappropriate’ language – after making homophobic comments to JoJo and offending other members of the house earlier in the week.
He proffered: ‘Yes sir. I did wrong. I apologise. I’m sorry. I can’t take it back, you know, I stepped over the line. And I take responsibility for doing the wrong thing. ‘Cause I lost my temper, and I’ve been trying to work on it my whole life and I wish I would have had better self-control and I’m very sorry’.
‘I’m ashamed of myself for losing it for a few seconds there. Nobody got touched or hurt. Maybe some feelings got hurt or maybe others have feelings about others getting upset but, you know, I’m sorry about that’.
However Big Brother said that his behaviour was considered ‘seriously unacceptable’ and they had ‘no option’ but to ask him to leave.
Mickey responded: ‘I blame myself, I know it was my bad. You know, I’ve got a short fuse and I know I upset a lot of people out there, you know. And I’m sorry for that. I’m actually ashamed of myself for getting that H๏τ’.
‘I went over the line, you know, I did wrong. I guess, like they say, I’m a work in progress. I just wanna pack my bags and leave, you know. I wanted to leave yesterday actually but I wasn’t chosen.’
It comes after a spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother confirmed the news saying: ‘Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.’
Meanwhile, rumours are stirring that Mickey will not be receiving his full £500,000 fee after being booted from the show, a source told The Sun.
