Chris Hughes’ brother gave a four-word verdict on the former Love Island star tickling his housemate JoJo Siwa’s back on Celebrity Big Brother on Sunday. 

Fans were left very confused after watching the 32-year-old giving the Dance Moms legend, 21, back scratches while in bed. 

The moment left those watching at home wondering what is going on between the pair considering Chris is single, and JoJo is in a relationship with girlfriend Kath Ebbs.

During Monday’s episode of Lorraine, stand-in host Kate Garraway, 57, asked Chris’ brother Ben what he thinks about their friendship. 

Ben told Kate: ‘I actually think they’ve formed a great friendship due to the fact that Chris stood up for JoJo.

‘I think JoJo is in a solid relationship. Chris will know that. I just think that they’ve got each other’s backs.

Chris and JoJo have grown very close since entering the Celebrity Big Brother house last week 

‘But there’s so many older members of the house there, I think that they’re a couple of the youngest, they’ve stood up for each other most of the first week. 

Admitting their chemistry came naturally, he added: ‘They’ve bonded really well. 

‘[They’ve] got a good friendship and will probably come away from the house as well. It’ll be nice to see.’  

On Sunday night viewers saw the pair smile as they laid in bed together.

Some fans felt that the cosiness between the pair was inappropriate given JoJo’s relationship status, but others suggested that it is Chris who may want to cross the platonic boundary.

Evicted housemate Michael Fabricant then claimed on Sunday’s Late And Live that he believes there is chemistry between Chris and JoJo.

Host Will Best was quick to quash the possibility of a mutual connection, instead theorising that Chris may have one-sided feelings for JoJo.

Last week Chris also stood up for JoJo after Mickey Rourke made some inappropriate comments towards her.

Elsewhere in the chat with Kate, the two spoke about how Chris handled himself in a blazing row with Mickey.

The Hollywood actor, 72, was thrown out of the ITV house on Saturday after exploding into a foul-mouthed rant amid an altercation Chris.

Ben said: ‘I thought it handled it quite well. 

‘He didn’t retaliate. 

‘I think he actually he [Mickey] got into character a little too well. 

‘He might be trying out Pirates of the Caribbean or something along those lines. 

‘I think he handled it quite well. Danny got involved, Chris in previously episodes has stuck up for JoJo.

‘Which I do think anyone in that situation would have stuck up for her as well.’ 

Chris sH๏τ to fame on Love Island in 2017 and has dated the likes of Jesy Nelson and Olivia Attwood. 

Meanwhile JoJo is best known for being on Dance Moms with her mum, Jessalynn Siwa.
