Kylie Jenner shared a memory of her controversial 2016 Coachella ʙικιɴι look on Friday.
The reality TV star, 27, posted a throwback of the look to her Instagram Stories while enjoying her time at the music festival in Indio, California.
The image saw her wearing a sequined evil eye ʙικιɴι by Australian brand Discount Universe, while rocking lavender and teal braids and fluffy blue slippers.
‘Mood,’ Kylie — who wore a skimpy latex dress in scorching desert heat the day prior — simply captioned the snap.
In 2016, she was accused of copying the look from Australian influencer and designer Brit Day, who wore an identical outfit to the Rabbits Eat Lettuce festival in Byron Bay, Australia just weeks prior, with matching braids.
At the time, Day posted a side-by-side comparison on Instagram with the caption ‘When the babe’n @kyliejenner steals your look!’

The picture soon went viral and was picked up by media outlets, but Day said she didn’t mean for the post to be negative.
‘I was totally flattered [when I saw Kylie’s outfit]. It’s awesome to know that my girl crush supposedly has a crush on me!’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

Kylie shared the snap after setting pulses racing on Friday as she made a surprise appearance at the Revolve & Sprinter pool party, in Palm Springs, California.
Despite the high desert heat, the lip kit mogul confidently rocked a clingy skimpy yellow latex mini dress with a plunging neckline while promoting her vodka line.
The reality TV star paired the look with flip flops and wore her raven tresses tumbling down in bouncy waves.
Her boyfriend Timothée Chalamet, 29, was not pictured at the party, but Kylie risked running into her ex, rapper Travis Scott, 33, who is one of the performers at Coachella, and shared some shirtless snaps ahead of his show.
Kylie and the Sicko Mode hitmaker — born Jacques Bermon Webster II — share two kids, daughter Stormi Webster, seven, and son Aire, three.

Kylie also shared a number of Stories to her Instagram, including one of her walking in the skinтιԍнт dress with an audio from the Kardashians reality show.
In the audio, her older half-sister Khloe was heard saying, ‘You looked cute’ to which Kylie responded, ‘Cute? I looked major.’
Another one was a video that saw her pouring some of the drink into sister Kendall Jenner’s, 29, mouth to ‘hydrate’ her during a workout.
The clip started out with Kylie walking up to Kendall and two of her pals while they were working out in a gym.
Kendall was pictured in a red ʙικιɴι top and black bottoms.
Kylie then put the canned beverage by Kendall’s face, before unexpectedly tipping it into her mouth, causing her to spit it out.
‘I thought you were trying to cool me off,’ a surprised Kendall said while laughing.
She was then seen wiping herself off with a towel.

The party was one of many that take place during the Coachella music festival.

Following her split from Travis, Kylie has moved on with Dune star Timothee. The pair were first romantically linked back in 2023.
