Hollywood actor Mickey Rourke has left the Celebrity Big Brother house after ‘further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour’.

It comes after the Bafta-winning star of The Wrestler received a formal warning from Big Brother earlier in the week for ‘unacceptable language and behaviour’ directed at fellow housemate JoJo Siwa.

A spokesperson for Celebrity Big Brother said: ‘Mickey Rourke has agreed to leave the Celebrity Big Brother House this evening following a discussion with Big Brother regarding further use of inappropriate language and instances of unacceptable behaviour.’

It is believed that Mickey used behaviour and language that was considered to be threatening and aggressive on Saturday.

This behaviour was directed towards fellow housemate Chris Hughes. No physical altercation took place.

The Love Island star, 32, had comforted former the Dance Moms star, 21, in Wednesday’s episode after Mickey spoke about her Sєxuality and said he would ‘vote the lesbian out real quick’.

This comes as earlier on Saturday MailOnline reported that Celebrity Big Brother fans were convinced Mickey was planning to quit the show after spotting one major clue.

During Friday evening’s episode former Tory MP Michael Fabricant became the first housemate to be evicted after receiving the most nominations from his fellow contestants.

Mickey sparked further backlash earlier in Friday’s episode after a blunt comment left EastEnders star Patsy Palmer in tears

After the result was announced, the politician said his goodbyes before exiting to a mix of boos and cheers, where he was greeted by hosts AJ Odudu, 37, and Will Best, 40. 

However, eagle-eyed viewers noticed Mickey, 72, seemingly attempting to make a sly exit alongside him.

Convinced the Hollywood star is desperate to leave, fans quickly took to X (formerly Twitter) to share their suspicions.

One wrote: ‘Mickey wants out so bad, he keeps saying how he wants to leave first and when that guy was kicked he pretended to leave with him.’

However those watching slammed the result, branding Mickey a ‘homophobe’ after he left dancer JoJo, 21, in tears after he insinuated he would be able to ‘make her straight’ during their time in the house and branded her a ‘f*g’.

Later in the garden, Mickey asked Chris if everyone had to vote one another out of the house as the Wrestler star confessed: ‘I’m going to vote the lesbian out real quick.’ 

JoJo overheard as she hit back: ‘That’s homophobic, if that was your reasoning.’ 

Defending JoJo, Chris interjected, ‘You can’t do that Mickey,’ yet the star was undeterred as he added: ‘I need a f*g’ before gesturing to JoJo and adding: ‘I’m not talking to you.’

Viewers demanded ‘vile’ Mickey be removed from the house after his comments towards JoJo.

But JoJo has since been hailed ‘the people’s princess’ by viewers after how she handled the horrific situation, which saw Mickey make repeated homophobic and misogynistic comments towards her. 

They wrote: ‘Jojo Siwa is really great, isn’t she? A mature, smart, young woman,’;

‘The way jojo was nothing but kind to that man when she had every opportunity to tell him to shut the f*** up,’;

‘Jojo has more patience than me because if that old man started brushing his teeth in the kitchen sink in front of me i would’ve lost it,’;

‘Oh i’ve seen enough jojo and chris final two,’; ‘Jojo is the people’s princess i fear,’; 

‘Jojo handled that situation with mickey SO well,’; ‘JoJo is my early winner after tonight. She handled everything so well,’;

‘Jojo’s face when Mickey was being a homophobic rat to her broke my heart. She handled herself so well when she’d be so justified in losing her sнιт, I’m rooting for her. I hope she kicks him out,’;

Meanwhile, Mickey sparked further backlash earlier in Friday’s episode after a blunt comment left EastEnders star Patsy Palmer in tears.

The housemates were gathered around the kitchen table enjoying lunch prepared by the actress, 52, when the actor criticised her cooking.

He swiped: ‘What do you know, you can’t cook.’

While she initially laughed it off, Patsy soon headed to the diary room to let off some steam to Big Brother.

‘Sorry,’ she said before breaking down into tears. ‘I tried to talk that one out but it didn’t really work. I feel like I let myself down there and I don’t want my reactions to be like that.

‘I always want my kids to always stand up for themselves. Maybe it was just a joke – maybe I need to look at it like that.’

‘I need to try to rise above it. It doesn’t mean I have to like him,’ she added.
