Former Bachelorette Andi Dorfman has gone on the record about life after having a baby.
‘Alright, I’m just going to go out on a limb and be honest and say that postpartum has been harder for me than pregnancy,’ Dorfman, 38, said in an Instagram Story on Saturday.
‘Truly, like, from a physical standpoint, it’s obviously been very hard for me to lose weight.’
Andi went on the explain that the emotional side of her postpartum experience has also been particularly hard to deal with.

‘There’s so much stuff on pregnancy, but not a lot on postpartum. You’re also navigating all of this while being exhausted while taking care of your child.’
She continued: ‘Its a thing. I feel, like, every woman battles something postpartum.

‘Whether it’s external, internal, hormonal or all of it. But, yeah, postpartum is the real hard part about having a baby. I’m going to put it there.’
Andi also said she’s been lucky as she’s been able to lean on her husband Blaine when things get tough.
‘Especially the first couple of months, I think the word that comes to mind is partnership,” she said in a follow-up Instagram Story Q&A when asked how their marriage has changed since Harper was born.
‘Sometimes you just feel like teammates tagging each other in and out to get it all done.’
‘You definitely have to make a concerted effort to spend time with each other and make it not all about the baby, she added.
‘But in doing so, you really do build this cool partnership with someone.’

Andi also dished on whether she and Blaine plan to have more children.
‘We’ve always said we wanted three but going to take it one at a time,’ the reality TV star admitted during her Saturday Q&A session.
‘I want some time this year for us to be with just Harper and to recover, so maybe we’ll start trying at the end of this year or early 2026.’
Andi and Blaine married in 2023. Their love story has a cute twist.
‘It’s kind of a crazy story,’ Andi told People in 2023. ‘We actually met at a party when we were both in college.
‘Blaine was playing baseball at Furman University and one of my friends was his teammate. We met and then I never heard from him again until 15 years later in Italy.’
She continued: ‘Blaine started DMing me and asked if I wanted to go for drinks. I told him, “I’m in Italy, so no.”
‘And he was like, “Well obviously. I saw your Instagram story, I’m here too and I want to take you out for drinks.”‘

That Italian encounter led to true love for the couple.
‘That was it,’ she said. And when it came time to plan their wedding, naturally Italy was their first choice.
‘It’s a very special place for us,’ Andi added.
Andi became part of The Bachelor franchise when she competed for Juan Pablo Galavis’ heart during season 18 of The Bachelor in 2014.
She then became The Bachelorette where she got engaged to Josh Murray, though they split up several months after the show ended.
