A concertgoer from one of Usher’s recent shows has spoken out on wild rumours that her husband filed for divorce over a steamy on-stage moment.
The rapper has been performing a string of concerts at London’s O2 Arena, and footage from his show on April 1 featured him delivering a seductive serenade to a woman in the audience.
The clip, which has been widely circulated on social media, showed Usher singing to the woman in the audience, while she performed her own dance moves.
Following a tradition which has been a fixture at his shows in the capital, Usher then pulled out a cherry which he proceeded to feed to the woman.
A clip of the steamy exchance has since gone viral online, with Instagram account The Uncuttt then claiming that the woman’s husband has filed for divorce over the exchange.
The viral post claimed that the husband was upset that his wife, who ‘has never kissed him in public,’ appeared intimately engaged with a ‘complete stranger in the presence of 20,0000 people’.

However, the allegation had not been verified, and the woman in the video, Jimalita Tillman, has since given an interview denying the claims.
Jimalita, who hails from Chicago and works as the global director of the Harold Washington Cultural Center in the city, told WGN News that she was ‘single’.
She said: ‘That is completely false. I am single. I am a retired homeschool mom looking to expand the arts here and across the pond. I am single. You got a cherry, give me a jingle.
‘When he came around with those cherries, I said, “Well, life is a bowl of cherries, I’ll take one, maybe two.”‘
Jimalita added that she hasn’t spoken to Usher since the exchange, saying: ‘I don’t want him or his camp to feel uncomfortable. The moment was beautiful, and I’m embracing it.’
Usher will be playing at the O2 for one more night on April 11, before heading to Paris, Abu Dhabi, Amsterdam and Berlin, before arriving back in London to close out his staggering tour on May 7.
The singer – whose full name is Usher Terry Raymond IV – has been wowing crowds of around 200,000 people every night with his hits like Yeah, Burn, U Remind Me and OMG.
He’s been showing off his incredible falsetto and enviable dancing skills, with him even donning roller skates during the shows and demonstrating an impeccable moonwalk and handstand.

The hitmaker has also sparked attention on social media for treating some female fans to more up close and personal meetings and seductively hand-feeding them cocktail cherries.
Usher’s pop career is heading into its fourth decade with a head of steam, after the star performed at the Super Bowl LVIII in February 2024 and enjoyed a popular Las Vegas residency last year.
He also wowed US fans with a successful tour of the States but was forced to reschedule his Miami concerts after Florida declared a ‘state of emergency’ amid Hurricane Milton in October.
Though many praised Usher’s commitment to safety for his fans and tour crew, others criticised the decision and voiced frustration over the new dates.
Usher kicked off his Past Present Future tour in August. It marked his sixth headlining concert tour.
The 78-date run has seen him travel across the United States and Europe and will come to a close in May after his final two back-to-back shows at The O2.
The Past Present Future tour has been in support of Usher’s ninth studio album Coming Home. It was released in February 2024 – two days before he headlined the halftime show in Las Vegas.
It features 20 tracks and collaborations with the likes of 21 Savage, Summer Walker and Latto.
