A legendary US comedy series is finally arriving in the UK after a whopping 50 years on screens and a record-breaking string of award wins.
Saturday Night Live first aired in America back in 1975 and is hosted by different stars on NBC.
Now, the UK and Ireland is set to get its own version with an all-British cast launching as a Sky Original in 2026.
The US show has welcomed various A-Listers over the years, and recently saw Elton John put on an incredible performance.
Like the original, the London-based series will see the same fast-paced style that has made the comedy series so renowned.
It will feature musical guests, iconic hosts and some of Britain’s most hilarious comics.

He opened up to his old Northwestern college classmate Stephen Colbert on Monday’s episode of Late Show, after revealing funny messages from Friends co-stars.
While Schwimmer was honored to host SNL, he revealed that his reps didn’t tell him one important piece of information about hosting the show.
The actor revealed that they would film Friends on Tuesdays, and due to the logistics of filming, which sometimes lasted until 1 AM, he wouldn’t get out to New York City until Thursday.
He admitted that he, ‘couldn’t be more excited’ to host the show, but admitted when he got there, ‘the entire writing staff looked at me as if I had just slept with their mom or something.’
‘They were not happy to see me and I had no idea. Somehow I got through the next two days, but I was kind of traumatized,’ he admitted.

When Colbert asked how it went, Schwimmer admitted with a laugh, ‘I don’t remember how it went, to be honest.’
‘But it wasn’t until years later that I was talking to somebody else who hosted the show and they said no, were supposed to show up on a Monday,’ Schwimmer said.
He added, ‘No one told me and for years, I had no idea why,’ adding he was recently, ‘invited to the 50th anniversary of Saturday Night Live, which is coming up in February.’
‘It’s been 30 years and I’m thinking maybe they forgot? That they don’t like me? Or it’s just some intern that’s tasked with emailing everyone who’s ever hosted. But I don’t know what to do,’ Schwimmer said.
