Maya Jama forgot her co-stars name as she suffered an awkward blunder while starring on Capital XTRA on Tuesday.

During her interview with Capital hosts Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie, she put her friendship with Maya to the test.
Speaking on the phone, Julie said to Maya: ‘Alright Maya, so the show is called ‘Now You Know’. So, I’m going to tell you five things about me and you’ve got to answer them.
‘Just know at the end of this I still love you.’

Maya admitted: ‘I was going to say this feels intense and I’m not that good at this stuff.’
‘First one, what is my full name?’ Julie asked.
Maya laughed: ‘Well, no. I don’t know that.’
Her new show Now You Know is a four-part interview series airing on BET UK and Channel 5, presented and produced by Julie – and Maya and KSI are set to appear in the first few episodes.
According to ᴅᴇᴀᴅline, the other two guests in the first season are set to be Big Zuu and singer-songwriter Mahalia.
Maya recently shared how she once took a homeless man out for the day in New York City, while speaking on her Instagram Story.
Sharing a TikTok video of herself in a previous interview, Maya said: ‘You know that story of when I lived in New York and I was bored and I took a homeless man out for the day?’
Her friend Julie Adenuga laughed and replied: ‘Yes, I do.’

Maya then continued the story: ‘So, basically, I think, maybe it’s from my mum, because if I remember when (I was) younger, we always had people at our house, so then it gave me this trust of people.
‘And so, that story in New York… Was bored one day, didn’t have friends because it was after COVID and no one could really visit. And I remember just going out and meeting this person. I think I asked for a lighter or something,
‘And I was like, “Do you wanna go to the pub?” and he was the older man, he was like 50 something, and he was like, “No I can’t come with you.” And I’m like, “Look I’m from England, I have no friends here, I just wanna go to a pub with someone today.”
She laughed before adding: ‘Then he didn’t want to come with me, then I persuaded him, and then we went for a beer.
‘And then every time we’d finish a drink, he was like “Okay, thank you, it was lovely to meet you, I wanna go.”
‘Long story short, we ended up staying together for like six hours pub sweeping, like going to different pubs around New York, and his name was John, we kept in touch, and I had the best day ever.’
