James Cook has got engaged to his girlfriend, Lauren Brown, three years after the collapse of his marriage to actress and model Poppy Delevingne.
The businessman proposed to Lauren, a pH๏τographer’s agent, while on holiday in Bhutan.
Confirming the happy news, Lauren – who strikes a remarkable resemblance to Poppy with her slender figure, chiselled cheekbones and light blonde hair – shared a pH๏τo on Instagram of herself and James celebrating while on a walk in Bhutan.
‘Said YES in a three stripe @cook_james ❤️Bhutan you have been a real life fairy tale!’ Lauren captioned the post, making a reference to her Adidas tracksuit.
James shared a post on Instagram of them walking in the distance, and wrote: ‘YES…… @lauren_ebrown thank you!’
In what appears to be a blessing from the Delevingne clan, James’s engagement post was liked by Poppy’s younger sister, top model Cara Delevingne.

Model Jodie Kidd wrote: ‘Hugh congratulations to you both’ while Sienna’ Miller’s sister, wedding dress designer Savannah Miller, commented with several stars and love hearts.
James and Poppy, 38, got married in 2014 at St Paul’s Church in Kensington, London, with a star-studded guestlist including Alexa Chung, Georgia May Jagger, Princess Beatrice, Sienna Miller and Suki Waterhouse.
They eventually grew apart, and while choosing not to officially announce their split, in 2023, Poppy started dating Prince Constantine Alexios of Greece and Denmark – sparking speculation that she and James had separated permanently.
In September last year, Poppy broke her silence on the divorce, saying she ‘will always have a good relationship’ with James.
She added: ‘There’s a lot of love and respect there. It just no longer worked for us. I met him when I was 20 years old, and 15 years is a long time…
‘I think 15 years to be with someone is a success. And sometimes these things just have to come to an end. When it did end, that feeling, it was this sort of, like, bubbling-up of freedom. I felt sort of 20 all over again.
‘It should have probably ended earlier than it did, and I think one of the reasons why it didn’t is because of that stigma, which is extraordinary.
‘I’m quite sad, actually, that we should feel that there’s such a thing about it. [It’s] that: “God, she’s divorced, damaged goods, no one’s going to want you.”
