This year’s theme centers on ‘Superfine: Tailoring Black Style’ and co-chairs include Colman Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky, and Pharrell Williams along with NBA legend LeBron James serving as honorary chair.

Rachel’s casting as the Disney princess was criticized ‘for being brown,’ and she raised eyebrows by criticizing the 1937 original animated film as ‘extremely dated when it comes to the ideas of women being in roles of power and what a woman is fit for in the world.’

‘The original cartoon came out in 1937, and very evidently so,’ Zegler scoffed to Extra TV in 2022.

‘There’s a big focus on her love story with a guy who literally stalks her. Weird. So we didn’t do that this time.’

‘May Trump supporters and Trump voters and Trump himself never know peace,’ Rachel tweeted at the time.

‘There is a deep, deep sickness in this country that is shown in the sheer amount of people who showed up for this man who threatens our democracy.’
