Maura Higgins is reportedly set to make a return to the TV spotlight as a contestant on game show Blankety Blank, after keeping a low profile following her ‘drunken kiss’ with married McFly star Danny Jones.
The former Love Island star, 34, hit the headlines last month after spending the evening with Danny, 39, at Universal Music’s BRIT Awards afterparty, where they were spotted in a compromising clinch.
Now, it seems Maura is focusing on her work as she continues to move on from the scandal, with plans to star in an episode of Blankety Blank, hosted by Bradley Walsh, according to The Sun.
A source told the publication: ‘Since that unfortunate incident, Maura’s kept to modelling jobs and posting glossy social media videos, but this will be her first TV appearance.
‘She’s opening herself up to ribbing and scrutiny, but the BBC has ensured the drunken kiss stays off-limits because it’s a family show.’
Maura reportedly filmed her segment of Blankety Blank at Maidstone Studios in Kent. The show, which originally launched in 1979 with Terry Wogan as the host, made its return to screens in 2021.

MailOnline has contacted the BBC and Maura’s representative for comment.
Meanwhile, last month Danny broke his social media silence over the ‘drunken kiss’ publicly apologising to his wife of 10 years, Georgia Horsley, for ‘putting her in the situation’.
Taking to Instagram two weeks after the incident, Danny wrote: ‘Hello everyone. Sorry its taken me a while to post this but I’ve taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
‘I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we’ll continue to deal with this privately.
‘I love you guys, thank you for your patience, understanding, and support. See you all soon, Danny.’
The statement came after Danny made a cringeworthy return to social media last month as he re-shared a mᴀssive list of birthday tributes to his Instagram.
The McFly singer marked his 39th birthday in the wake of his BRITs scandal after he was caught on camera locking lips with Maura at the Universal afterparty.
The pair were also seen looking cosy inside the star-studded bash at 180 House on The Strand and reportedly went on to drink wine together until 6am at a Sony party.

Danny finally returned to social media after a weeks-long absence but didn’t comment on the scandal as he shared a string of cringe posts.
Rather than addressing the headline-making controversy, Danny simply re-shared more than 40 posts wishing him a happy birthday and gushing over his ‘amazing’ personality.
While a few posts were from his celebrity friends, the majority were from his adoring McFly fans as they shared their well wishes on his special day.
Notably, his wife Georgia failed to share a post on his birthday as she remained completely silent on Instagram.
Danny and his wife Georgia are reportedly fighting to save their marriage.
A source told The Mirror last month: ‘Everyone would understand why Danny and his wife have been quiet.
‘They are likely working through various discussions from the first video that was released alone. With this second video, Danny needs to now speak out.
‘Danny’s career should be halted at this point and he should be big enough to now speak out to everyone and explain what has happened and take some accountability.
‘This is unfair on his wife, who seems to have put the family and their marriage first. Who knows if another video will emerge, but being honest is now the only way that this has a chance of resolving itself.’
