Mark Wright could barely contain his laughter on Saturday, as his pal and co-host Olly Murs almost missed the start of their radio show for an embarrᴀssing reason.

The former TOWIE star, 38, and singer, 40,  host their own show their every Saturday morning on Heart FM. 

But this week, Olly found himself in a mad dash just moments before they were set to go live on the radio, with Mark hilariously filming the scenario for his two million Instagram followers.

Putting his camera on the hitmaker, who was unaware he was being filmed, Mark laughed as he said to his co-host: ‘Olly we’re live, where you going mate?’

Confused, Olly asked: ‘What?’ as he began walking out of the studio doors, to which Mark jokingly quipped: ‘We’re live on the radio, we’ve got four minutes where are you going?’

In response, Olly cheekily turned around to stick his bum out, indicating that he needed to use the toilet quickly before they began.

Mark was in fits of laughter as he taunted and shouted: ‘He’s going for a pony, the boy! The coffee’s gone straight through him, look! Go on the boy! His guts are falling out!’ 

He continued to film Olly as he raced down the corridoor to the toilet before their show hit the airwaves. 

It comes just after Mark said he is in his ‘dad era’ as he enjoyed a trip away with his wife Michelle Keegan and their daughter Palma.

The reality star and his wife, 37, announced the birth of their first child in March and have been enjoying the first few weeks of being parents.

Mark took to Instagram on Thursday and shared an adorable pH๏τo of himself cradling Palma in bed.

The radio presenter also shared pH๏τos smiling alongside Michelle as the couple enjoyed a drink in the sunshine.

The couple appeared to be staying somewhere in the countryside as Mark shared another pH๏τo of himself enjoying a bike ride and another of a lake view.

Alongside the post, he wrote: ‘In my Dad era…. trip away with my girls’.

Mark recently opened up about what he’s finding difficult as a first-time parent of a newborn on his Heart FM radio show this morning with his co-host Olly Murs.

The revelation came as they read out a message from a listener who said sorting through their clothes is ‘tiring’.

Mark jokingly responded: ‘Lisa, I’m going to go back to what you just said there, it’s very tiring sorting your clothes in your room – don’t talk to me about tired right now.

‘Because Palma, my little baby, is making me extremely tired. I turned up this morning and Olly went “you look shattered”.’

Laughing, Olly quipped: ‘You know what, it’s your eyes, it is the first time I’ve seen these little bags in all the years I’ve known you, just here, and it is a dad thing, it is a parent thing, all of a sudden you get these little bags under your eyes.’

Mark agreed: ‘Yeah, they say dad bod don’t they, they never warn you about dad eyes’.

Despite the lack of sleep, the reality star continued to gush about how much he’s loving being a dad.

He said: ‘It is the best thing ever. It is the best thing ever. Except when I am trying to wind her after a bottle at 2am, nightmare.’

Mark has described fatherhood as the ‘biggest achievement’ of his life since welcoming baby Palma into the world with Michelle on March 6.

He told Olly: ‘Mate, it’s actually hard to put into words.

‘It’s the biggest achievement of my life its all I think about but obviously hats go off to my wife she is an absolute super human, a superhero for bringing this baby into the world.’

Sharing his appreciation for Michelle, he added: ‘It makes you realise what our mums did for us and makes me have so much more respect than I already had and what women had to go through.

‘It’s the best feeling in the world. I wake up every morning just so excited to see her face.’

Recalling the first moment he held Palma, he continued: ‘That moment when I held her in my arms, it gets me emotional now thinking about it.

‘I suppose everything else goes out the window and its made me realise what life is all about and my little baby Palma I love you so much and I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you.

‘It’s a very special feeling. I cant really put it into words. We’ve waited a little bit of time, we’ve chased our dreams and our careers and now we’re here. We’ve got a baby.’

Mark and Michelle announced the news of their daughter’s birth earlier this month with a sweet snap shared to Instagram.

In a sweet black-and-white pH๏τo, the proud new parents held Palma’s tiny hand, with the newborn dressed in a crochet set.

It’s believed the couple chose the name Palma because of their strong links to Mallorca, their go-to holiday destination and the setting for their pregnancy reveal pH๏τo shoot.

Michelle married Mark in May 2015 and the couple live together in an EsSєx mansion they built from scratch.
