And then they started dating in real life.

Now DailyMail.com has learned if they are still an item after three years of romance.

‘They are still together and very happy,’ a source told DailyMail.com. 

Turns out, the lovebirds are doing strong and even took a vacation together late last month with costar Chris Briney with his girlfriend Isabel Machado.

They went on a couples’ spring break getaway at AVA Resort Cancun. Sean plays Steven, Minnie plays Shayla, and Chris is Conrad Fisher on The Summer I Turned Pretty which will debut its third season in July.

The show also stars Lola Tung as Belly and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher.  Though not much is known about Tung’s love life, Casalegno wed nurse Cheyanne King last year.

Turns out, the lovebirds are doing strong and even took a vacation together last month

The stars were seen soaking up the sun at AVA Lagoon—a stunning 2.8-acre saltwater sanctuary.

They turned their four-day stay into the ultimate couples’ retreat. They enjoyed paddle-boarding, kayaking, and the floating water park with inflatable obstacle courses. 

By day, they lounged in private poolside cabanas, sipped margaritas, indulged in poolside snacks, and unwound at The Spa at AVA, where they relaxed in the hydrotherapy circuit before their mᴀssages.

In the evenings, they dined across the resort’s impressive all-inclusive restaurants.

That includes Copal, where they savored modern Mexican cuisine with sustainably sourced dishes like spicy lime-marinated cactus with crispy tortilla crumbles, shrimp tostadas, salmon mole, beef cᴀsserole, and indulgent desserts like three-layer caramel cake and chocolate mousse. 

They also visited Kita North Teppanyaki Grill, and Veranda Restaurant, experiencing a taste of Italy’s diverse culinary traditions.

Late night, they embraced the resort’s entertainment offerings, taking on laser tag, enjoying the on-site bowling alley, and making the most of the family and adult playgrounds.

 Fans got a glimpse of their trip on Instagram, where they shared highlights from lounging poolside.

The Summer I Turned Pretty, which has become one of Amazon Prime Video’s most popular shows, comes back in July.

Amazon and MGM Studios’ head of television, Vernon Sanders, issued a statement in 2023 to elaborate on the success of the series. 

‘We’ve been delighted to see the pᴀssion with which fans have embraced The Summer I Turned Pretty, making Summer Fridays an entertainment phenomenon,’ he said.

Sanders shed light on how The Summer I Turned Pretty, which was created by Jenny Han, quickly become a fan-favorite program.

The Summer I Turned Pretty is based on Han’s book of the same name, which was originally released in 2009.

The book was followed up by a pair of sequels that were published in 2010 and 2011, respectively.

The show also stars Lola Tung as Belly and Gavin Casalegno as Jeremiah Fisher 

Lola and Gavin star as lovers, but his brother, played by Chris, wants to romance her as well

The series is centered on Isabel ‘Belly’ Conklin, a teenage girl who ends up in a love triangle with two brothers.

The first season of the program premiered in June 2022 and had eight episodes. Season two debuted in July 2023.

The program has been received well by critics, and it currently holds a 74% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
