Good Morning Britain fans blast ‘sneering and snooty’ Ed Balls for ‘turning his nose up’ at money-saving segment – raging ‘this man is a clown!’

Good Morning Britain fans have blasted Ed Balls as ‘sneering and snooting’ for ‘turning his nose up’ at a money-saving segment.

The former MP, 56, took on presenting duties alongside Susanna Reid on Thursday and the pair hosted a segment on counterfeit second hand goods.

The segment saw an expert and customer discussing how fake second hand shoes are being sold on the app Vinted.

But Ed left viewers, and the guests, unimpressed when he expressed his confusion at why people would buy second hand shoes.

Phil Lewis from the Anti-Counterfeiting Group quickly explained that cost is a big reason for the purchase, while guest Amir Moshiri – who mistakenly bought fake goods – showed that he was wearing second hand shoes as he called out Ed.

Presenter Susanna even said: ‘You might be sniffy about it Ed but buying second hand shoes is very, very common.’

During the segment, Ed asked: ‘Why would you buy a second hand Birkenstock that somebody else has worn with the wrong toes indented in the soles?

‘I’ve never understood this vintage stuff.’

‘I think price has got to be one thing doesn’t it?’ expert Phil replied, to which Ed said: ‘Ah it’s cheaper, so you’re buying second hand because it’s cheaper.’

Phil added: ‘Yeah of course that’s got to be one thing, and the way that it’s advertised and it’s appealing to some.’

It was at this point Amir, who appeared annoyed, lifted up his foot to show off his own pair of second hand shoes.

‘So these shoes are second hand Ed,’ he said. ‘These are from Vinted.’

The awkward exchange saw Ed ask, ‘So you bought them from somebody else?’ to which Amir replied: ‘I bought them from somebody else.’

‘Do you like the idea of wearing somebody else’s shoes?’ Ed asked.

‘Ed Balls turning his nose up at 2nd hand shoes on Vinted. Aye it’s ok when you can afford them on a TV presenters salary mate. This man is a [clown emoji],’;

‘Ed really is a t***, he can’t understand why people buy second hand stuff, umm it’s pretty damn obvious why!’;

‘Ed balls turning his nose up at second hand shoes….p***k! Not everyone gets paid stupid money to sit on their arse spouting c***!!!’;
