A nepo baby actress was seen posing with co-star Gerard Butler while attending day three of CinemaCon 2025 in Las Vegas on Wednesday.
Nico Parker, 20 – the daughter of Emmy winner Thandiwe Newton and director Ol Parker – paused for snaps alongside The Phantom Of The Opera actor, 55, at a special screening of How To Train Your Dragon at the event.
The upcoming film is a live-action adaptation of the 2010 animated movie and is set to hit theaters later this year on June 13.
The budding star took on the role of Astrid in the anticipated project while Butler reprised his character of Stoick the Vast from the previous films.
Parker put on a stylish display wearing a white dress which was layered with a dazzling silver jacket.
She slipped into a pair of closed-toed, black heels and allowed her brunette locks to flow down in light waves past her shoulders.

The Scottish-born actor kept it casual in a pair of black pants as well as a plain shirt and black ʙuттon up.
Nico and Gerard were also joined by director Dean DeBlois as they addressed the crowd inside a theater at Caesar’s Palace.
Other stars that have been cast in the remake include Mason Thames, Nick Frost, Julian Dennison and Gabriel Howell.
The premise is: ‘As an ancient threat endangers both Vikings and dragons alike on the isle of Berk, the friendship between Hiccup, an inventive Viking, and Toothless, a Night Fury dragon, becomes the key to both species forging a new future together,’ per IMDB.
Nico has followed in her mother’s acting footsteps – with Thandiwe Newton known for appearing in movies such as Mission Impossible 2 and The Pursuit Of Happyness.
She has also taken on roles in television as well, such as the series Westworld which earned her an Emmy for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 2018.
Thandiwe tied the knot with Ol Parker in 1998 but the pair separated in 2022. Along with Nico, they also share Ripley, 24, and Booker, 10. Parker has directed films such as Ticket To Paradise (2022).
The 20-year-old made her film debut in the 2019 adaptation of Disney’s 1941 film Dumbo – where she played the character of Milly Farrier.

When she first stepped into the entertainment industry, Nico previously revealed that she ‘didn’t really want advice’ from her parents.
While talking to The Hollywood Reporter in 2019, the actress said, ‘When it came to acting, I didn’t really want advice.’
She added that her mother ‘giving me acting advice is a bit stressful. Because, I don’t know if you know but she is better than I am.’
During the screening event on Wednesday, it was also announced that a sequel to the live-action remake of How To Train Your Dragon is in the works and has a current release date of June 11, 2027, per Variety.
The adaptation has already garnered critical praise following the first screening in Las Vegas this week and director Dean DeBlois told the crowd, ‘We are so excited to give your theaters a big summer тιтle in two years time.’

Nico also chimed in to give a special shout out to the fans and thanked the audience for ‘creating such a special memory for us.’
During an interview with Collider last year, Parker teased what viewers can expect for the live-action remake.
‘I think it’s very much its own thing, but I’d like to think so much of that magic is also prevalent in this one. But I think it’s its own film, and it’s its own interpretation and everyone has their own version of a character.’
She added, ‘It’s important not to get too wrapped up, especially because the animated ones are so brilliant. It’s like, let’s not try and just do a play by play of that.
‘And if anyone wants that, they can watch the animated ones. I think it’ll be wonderful, and if it isn’t, I’m having a wonderful time making it anyway. I’ll think it’s wonderful, no matter what.’
The original animated film was released in 2010 – and its success created two sequels: How To Train Your Dragon 2 (2014) and How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World (2019).
Other stars such as Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill and Kristen Wiig voiced characters throughout the movies.

During an interview with Extra, Gerard also briefly talked about the movie and shared, ‘There’s something about that story…I’m very excited to be able to play Stoick on the big screen.’
To portray Stoick the Vast, the actor also had to don a costume that weighed a whopping 93lbs for hours each day during production.
‘I had that on from 7 am till 7 at night…that was intense because you’re not just standing around…
‘It’s always weighing down on you and then you got to be running around, fighting, performing… even the eyebrows that I wore in that were heavier than everything I’m wearing today.’
Scenes for the live-action remake were sH๏τ in Northern Ireland in the cold months of December and January. However, Butler admitted to Collider that he was able to stay warm due to his costume.
During an interview with Extra, Gerard briefly talked about the movie and shared, ‘There’s something about that story…I’m very excited to be able to play Stoick on the big screen’; seen in 2204 in Atlanta
‘Yes, it was very cold and kind of miserable because we went at the worst time. It was December, or really starting in January,’ he recalled.
Gerard later added of his costume, ‘I had seven layers, thick layers, and a thick beard, and then I had a kind of bearskin or wolfskin over it. It was heavy as s**t.
‘When I had my sword and my shield and the helmet, which was heavy, and all those layers with the clasps that went around, it was 90 pounds, my costume.
‘I was, in the middle of the coldest day, soaking wet from sweat inside because it was like a furnace in there,’ he added.
