Kristin Cavallari’s ex boyfriend, Nate Thompson, has broken his silence over her decision to reveal they were romantically involved on her podcast earlier this week.
On Tuesday’s episode of his Energy Line podcast, hours after Cavallari confirmed they shared one of her ‘deepest relationships’ to date, the retired NHL player, 40, shared his reaction to her divulging their secret past to the world.

‘That’s her world, that’s what she does, and her podcast, obviously, as you know, is pretty big, and she talks about her relationships, so I knew it was probably gonna come out, eventually.’
The former Boston Bruins star continued: ‘I have nothing bad to say about Kristin. She’s a really, really good person and great mom and yeah, it was fun.’
Thompson, then, reiterated he was ‘fine’ with Cavallari opening up about their history.
