‘It goes in very big chunks with him. I think for the first 13 years of my life, it was pretty bad, and then we were okay for a couple years, and now it’s just like, okay,’ Sami told viewers.
Due to past friction with their dad, who has battled drug and alcohol abuse, Richards added that understands ‘why Sami feels the way she does.’

‘It hasn’t always been perfect with he and Lola, either — with any of his kids. So I hope that he does recognize that because he’s missing out,’ the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star continued.
Sami, then, declared that Charlie was ‘really’ missing out on not having a close relationship with her.
In addition to his two daughters with Richards, Charlie shares his daughter, Cᴀssandra Estevez, 40, with his high school girlfriend, Paula Profit, and his twin boys, Bob and Max, 17, with ex, Brooke Mueller.

‘We started getting pedicures together like every two to three weeks, and that’s like our favorite thing to do together,’ she gushed.
Over lunch, Lola noted that her sister definitely inherited their dad’s ‘dark humor.’

Lola (L), however, revealed that their relationship ‘has definitely improved’ and views their closeness as ‘a blessing’ (seen with mom Denise Richards and sister Sami last month)
Lola explained that her sister, Sami, ‘cannot understand’ her way of thinking.
‘A lot of people say it’s surprising that I’m a woman of God,’ noted. ‘I actually saw an article that said, “Lola an apple that fell far from the tree,” or something.’
She went on to joke that the only thing she and Sami ‘have in common is that’ they’re ‘in the same family.’
During the same episode, Richards described Lola as ‘like a fairy.’
‘She’s just very soft. She’s light. Because of her innocence, I feel that she’s not what I would say is your typical 19-year-old, growing up in a Hollywood family in Los Angeles,’ the actress said.

Earlier this year, Lola revealed on Instagram that she got baptized after hitting ‘rock bottom.’
‘I felt so lost and hopeless, and was just doing my best to make it to the next day. I just accepted my life was going to be like that forever, and thought I would never genuinely laugh again,’ she recalled.
After finding her faith, she said religion rescued her ‘from the darkness’ and made her ‘life worth living’ after previously battling severe anxiety.
‘I chose to get baptized at the beginning of this year, because I made it through this year only by the strength of Jesus, and I am so happy to go into this next year,’ she concluded.
