‘Then, when I was supposed to release my last album, I went deaf. And then I had a miscarriage. All these things have felt like they were keeping my feet on the ground.’

Jessie suffered a heartbreaking miscarriage in 2021 and wrote a poignant song about baby loss following the devastating experience.

Jessie and basketball player boyfriend Chanan Colman, who she started dating in 2021, went on to welcome son Sky in May 2023.

The Price Tag hitmaker, who is set to release her first music in eight years, also revealed that she is constantly ‘scared’ of her son ‘hurting himself’ as she discussed motherhood.

She explained: ‘Living in fear doesn’t stop the thing you’re scared of from happening. I’m always so scared my son’s going to hurt himself, but if he’s going to hurt himself, he’s going to hurt himself.

‘I may as well live in the moment while he’s not hurting himself, instead of being scared that he is.’

Jessie is currently preparing to release her H๏τly-anticipated music comeback after eight years with a new studio album.

Yet the Domino hitmaker left fans in disbelief after admitting she wants to go into comedy in a major career change.
