Tiffany Pollard is set to make a sensational return to the Celebrity Big Brother nine years after the notorious ‘David’s ᴅᴇᴀᴅ’ pandamonium tore through the house. 

The upcoming 24th series of the ITV show is due to hit our screens on April 7.

The likes of Love Island’s Chris Hughes, Olympian Daley Thompson and Corrie star Jack P Shepherd are among the famous faces who are rumoured to be entering the iconic house. 

On Wednesday it was revealed that CBB 2024 winner David Potts, 31, Tiffany Pollard, 43, and Oti Mabuse, 34, will be a big part of the new series. 

The trio have bene appointed the role of the spin-off show Late & Live’s Celebrity House Guests.

This means that they will be involved in ‘hilarious discussions and deliberations’ amongst the panel of celebrities.

The iconic moment happened when the American personality broke down after her housemate Angie Bowie told her that David was ᴅᴇᴀᴅ – and she thought it was their housemate David Gest

Tiffany took part in the 17 season of the programme back in 2016. 

During her series – which also included the likes of Gemma Collins, 44, Danniella Westbrook, 51, Stephanie Davis, 32, and Darren Day, 56 – a moment involving herself and her former housemate Angie Bowie,  75, took the world of reality TV by storm.

During her stint in the house, Angie was told by Big Brother that her ex-husband David Bowie had pᴀssed away and she decided to share the heartbreaking news with Tiffany. 

Tiffany mistook her ex for their housemate David Gest, 62, who was resting in bed with an illness. 

The American TV personality wept in Angie’s arms and told her that she had to go and tell the rest of their housemates, not knowing that she had got it wrong. 

Nine years on and the moment is still one of the show’s most iconic moments. 

Meanwhile David was crowned winner of the ITV series last year.

He appeared on the show alongside Nikita Kuzmin, 27, Colson Smith, 26, and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu, 30.

He will also be joined by Oti on the show

And Oti, who starred in Strictly between 2015 and 2021, has appeared on Late & Live a number of times. 

Late & Live will follow on from the episode that airs at 9pm. 

The programme will be hosted by AJ Odudu and Will Best. 

It comes after Celebrity Big Brother hosts Will and AJ revealed they would love to see former host Davina McCall in the CBB house one day.

The pair made the revelation ahead of the upcoming season of the long-running reality show.

Will, 40, believes that if Davina, who hosted the show from 2001 to 2010, went in the house, she would be guaranteed to win. 

He also admitted the presenter, 57, would make an excellent housemate thanks to her decade-long career in showbiz.

Will told The Mirror: ‘She would be amazing because she’s the nicest person in the world. I think it would be a bit unfair if she went in because that’s just a nailed-on victory.’ 

AJ, 37, added: ‘Maybe she should do a cameo. I’d quite enjoy seeing Davina enter the house and say, ‘Fancy another one?’ Why not?’

But for AJ, entering the Celebrity Big Brother house down the line is unlikely to happen.

The host admitted: ‘We respect every single person who puts themselves out there and goes for it. 

‘I don’t think I would ever do such a thing. It’s not easy exposing yourself like that, so there’s always a lot of love for everyone who’s part of the Celebrity Big Brother family.’ 

Their comments come after Will previously told MailOnline that he believes there will always be a place for Big Brother in reality television.

This comes amid the rise of other shows such as Love Island and The Traitors, which have proven hits with British audiences in recent years. 

He also praised the ability of Celebrity Big Brother, in particular, to give an insight into who famous faces really are. 

Speaking exclusively to MailOnline, Will said: ‘It is unique, right?

‘Like, I think the difference with Celebrity Big Brother, compared to any other reality show, as AJ was saying at the start there is, there is no hiding who you really are, right?

‘You’re being filmed 24 hours a day for three weeks in a situation that you have absolutely no control over.

‘And it’s going out super fast turnaround with lots of footage that is actually taken live, you know, we go live to the house loads on Late and Live.

‘There is no other show like that. 

‘There is no other show where you are guaranteed to see who people really are, you know.

‘And I think that there will always be a place for that.’
