Jessie Buckley seemingly announced her pregnancy after appearing to cradle a bump on the CinemaCon red carpet in Las Vegas to promote her latest film, The Big Picture.
The Wild Rose actress, 35, who married her mystery boyfriend ‘Freddie’ in an intimate Norfolk ceremony last year, donned a pair of sunglᴀsses, a black polo neck and a long dark skirt as she posed for cameras.
Beaming, the actress wore her hair cropped short with a bold red lip and hung out with her longtime friend and fellow star, Maggie Gyllenhaal.
Representatives of Jessie have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
It comes a year after she married her secret boyfriend – known only as ‘Freddie’ – seven years after her ‘acrimonious’ split James Norton who she dated from 2015 to 2017.
Meanwhile, the Happy Valley actor’s engagement to his actress girlfriend, Imogen Poots, was broken off last year.
Jessie Buckley sparked rumours she is pregnant after appearing to cradle a bump on the CinemaCon red carpet in Las Vegas to promote her latest film, The Big Picture.
Previously, Jessie dated her War and Peace co-star, James Norton, for two years before they split acrimoniously in 2017
Jessie secretly married her partner, known only as Freddie, last year in an intimate Norfolk ceremony
It emerged the reason behind the split was that Imogen, 35, a ‘free-spirited’ actress previously spoke about how she ‘wasn’t ready to slow down’ as she wanted to travel the world.
However, James has been open about his hopes of wanting a family and admitted three years ago that his ‘broody barometer is kicking off’.
Jessie refused to reveal the idenтιтy of her mysterious partner – but it has now emerged that they tied the knot one year ago and he is a mental health professional who lives in Islington, north London.
The couple split their time between London and Norfolk where the actress moved to in 2022.
She announced last year during an episode of Table Manners with Jessie and Lennie Ware, sharing that she tied the knot with her mystery man at their home in Norfolk and managed to keep their marriage under wraps for months.
She detailed a fun-filled wedding – which featured a keg of Guinness – their ‘many moons’ instead of one honeymoon and how the pair have been enjoying East Anglia.
The wedding was seven years after her self-described ‘acrimonious’ split from Happy Valley star James Norton, 38.
She previously said: ‘We have broken up, yes,’ she revealed to the BBC at the time. ‘It was acrimonious, but it’s a tough job to have a relationship and he is a great man and we are great friends. That’s it. How diplomatic can I sound?’
Jessie and James’s acrimonious split was confirmed in 2017 after he was spotted kissing his theatre co-star Imogen Poots (both pictured in December 2022), 36, later that year
Jessie insists her and James (pictured) remain good friends after secretly splitting and is now married to her mysterious partner, Freddie, a mental health worker from North London
Jessie and James dated from 2015 to 2017 after meeting on the set of the BBC’s six-part dramatisation of Tolstoy’s War And Peace, where they played an aristocratic brother and sister.
News of their relationship first broke in 2016, when they were seen kissing at the Brit Awards after-party. They were shortly afterwards seen out jogging by his home in South London.
The pair were then said to have secretly split in the summer of 2017 – which was confirmed when James was spotted kissing his theatre co-star Imogen Poots that December.
Speaking about her husband, ‘Freddie’, she gushed: ‘He is gorgeous!’ The couple split their time 50/50 between east London and Norfolk, where they have a home together.
Jessie and Freddie met on a blind date set up by mutual friend Marc Robinson, with whom she worked on her 2018 breakout film Wild Rose.
They initially considered settling down in Suffolk where they met due to their ᴀssociations of falling in love in the place, but were won over by Norfolk.
