Maggie Gyllenhaal made a shocking fashion choice as she arrived at CinemaCon wearing a tie made of hair in Las Vegas on Tuesday.

The actress, 47, donned a quirky fit for the occasion, pairing a suit and shirt with the Schiaparelli faux-hair tie, which retails for £1,754, at the Warner Bros. presentation.

The statement balayage braid started off dark at the neck, before turning into a lighter shade of brown towards the end of the plait.

Maggie and her unique accessory co-ordinated perfectly with her actual hair, which was was the same shade and worn in a cropped style.

Letting the tie be the centre of attention for her smart black suit, The Dark Knight alum went with minimal makeup and sported a bold red lip to complement her manicure. 

During the event, Maggie was also joined by Irish actress Jessie Buckley, 35.

The beauty, who is currently expecting her first child, debuted her baby bump in a stylish black turtleneck dress, which featured a distressed hem. 

She added inches to her frame with a pair of black stud-embellished heels and rocked a pair of trendy oval shades. 

Maggie’s appearance at the star-studded event was to debut a theatrical first look at her upcoming horror movie, The Bride.

The movie will be her punk rock take on Frankenstein’s monster, as she serves as a producer and director for the project. 

Christian Bale, 51, and Jessie star as Frankenstein’s monster and the bride of Frankenstein. Jessie previously worked with Maggie on The Lost Daughter, which earned her an Oscar nomination.  

‘Here comes the mother f*****g bride,’ is The Bride’s newly released tagline, Variety reported Tuesday.

According to the outlet, the movie’s first look opens with the bride falling down a flight of stairs and waking up on an operating table after breaking multiple bones. Though she gets fixed up, she’s now only good enough to be the monster’s lover. 

A voice in the trailer says: ‘It wasn’t any accident, they did it on purpose.’

Penélope Cruz, 50, Annette Bening, 66, and Maggie’s husband Peter Sarsgaard, 54, also star in the upcoming sci-fi thriller.  

In December, PEOPLE spoke to the Presumed Innocent star about how he makes his 15-year marriage to Maggie work.

He told the publication: ‘We take turns in terms of our work. I think that’s one of the things that you just sort of have to do is let someone have their dance and then you take your dance. There is great value in that.’ 

The couple tied the knot in May 2009 and share two daughters: Ramona, 18, and Gloria Ray, nine. 

The Bride is set for release in the UK on March 6, 2026, and opens in theatres in the US on September 26.
