Riyad Mahrez’s wife Taylor Ward has revealed she fell asleep during her boozy hen party before tying the knot with the Manchester City star.
The WAG, 26, had previously married the footballer in both religious and legal ceremonies in 2022, but last year they exchanged their vows once again in a lavish celebration in Lake Como, Italy.
The build-up to Taylor’s big day has been documented for the second series of Prime Video’s Married To The Game, and ahead of the new series on April 8, she revealed fans will get a glimpse at her hen night celebrations.
The star previously enjoyed a wild weekend with her friends in London in April 2024, before jetting to Marbella for a yacht break in June.
Speaking about her hen celebrations, Taylor said: ‘It was one of the best trips of my life, which is probably a bit offensive to Riyad because we’ve had some great trips together! But you can’t beat a girls’ trip.
‘We had such a laugh although I’m a bit nervous to watch it back because it was absolute carnage from the get-go! My sister couldn’t come on the hen do, because she was pregnant, which was sad, but apart from that, it was perfect.’

Taylor then jetted to Marbella in June for a sun-soaked yacht break with her pals, showing off her figure in an array of white swimwear
Taylor then shared that there was one particular night of her hen celebrations where she wasn’t filmed, and hinted that things may have taken a wild turn.
She added: Oh, we let our hair down! I actually fell asleep in the club at one point – it turns out I’m not as good at handling my alcohol as I thought I was.
‘There are some stories to be told, but I’ll never tell! Apart from anything else, I couldn’t let Riyad see inside the hen do – that’s just the number one rule.
‘Maybe we’ll have to do a big girls’ trip for series three and let the cameras film it all!
‘I’m so lucky to have the friendship group that I have, and to have made such lifelong friends, we’re literally like sisters. We’re just absolute nutters when we’re together.’
This season of Married To The Game promises even deeper access into the lives of the wives and girlfriends of leading Premier League footballers, with some familiar faces from series one, Jorginho and Cat Harding, Riyad Mahrez and Taylor Ward.
As well as three new Premier League couples, Marc Cucurella and Claudia Rodríguez, Gabriel Magalhães and Gabrielle Figueiredo, and Leon Bailey and Stephanie Hope.
In Married To The Game’s first series, viewers saw Taylor’s emotional reaction when Riyad revealed they would be moving to Saudi Arabia.

But despite her fears at moving to the Middle East, the star said she’s now settled into her new life, but still speaks to her mother Dawn ‘three or four times a day.’
She added: ‘We’re kind of here, there and everywhere. I still go back to England for work so I’m not here for the longest stints of time. Currently, this is the longest I’ve actually been here. I’ve not been home to England since the beginning of December.
‘I just don’t unpack anymore. I have one case that I keep packed at all times with spare toiletries and plug adaptors and things like that because you just never know where you’re going to be, things are always changing.
‘But it’s nice to be in the sun, the people here are so lovely, and I’ve got my bearings a lot more now. I’ve got the kids in nursery, I found a really nice gym, just little things that make day to day life a lot nicer and easier.
‘Me and my mum speak on the phone three or four times a day. We’re so involved in each other’s lives.
‘She gives me advice about all sorts of things but when it comes to the TV thing she always says, ”Just be yourself and be honest because if you try and be someone you’re not, eventually the mask will slip, and people will see you for what you are anyway.”
‘If anyone’s ever watched her on Housewives, the one thing they can definitely say is that she’s definitely herself, even when she’s not being shown in the best light.
‘She’s never been anything other than what she is, and she never tries to be something she’s not. I think honesty is the best policy.’
Married To The Game returns to Prime Video on April 8th.
