Cindy Crawford has revealed that her model daughter Kaia Gerber grew up ‘raiding her closet’ as the pair spoke as part of a new joint fashion project on Monday.

The fashion icon, 59, and the model, 23, have returned for a second series of the ZaraStreaming service where they picked their ‘perfect edit’ wardrobe.

As they showed off a series of chic looks they chatted about being influenced by each other’s style but admitted they have different approached when it comes to fashion.

Nepo baby Kaia said as they tried on the Zara clothes: ‘I think I’ve been so influenced by her be that consciously or subconsciously but we are also different in a lot of ways. 

‘But we have a lot of the same classic pieces but how we put things together differs.’

Cindy then chipped in saying: ‘I grew up in Illinois and my mum didn’t care about fashion and then Kaia grew up with her and her friends raiding my closet!’

Kaia responded saying: ‘Now I mainly steal stuff from her I don’t think I have anything she wants!’

As she showed off one look – a тιԍнт black bodysuit and gorgeous flowing trousers Kaia said: ‘Catwalking in front of you is like playing guitar in front of Jimmy Hendrix!’

The Zara edit featured a curated selection of pieces essential to their own personal style – or, as they called it, their ‘dream closet’.

Re-styling pH๏τographs from the previous day’s pH๏τo shoot while sharing stories about their lives and careers, it offered an insight into the lives and wardrobes of the two fashion icons.

They modelled all manner of pieces from a tuxedo jacket to seventies-spirited sunglᴀsses.

It comes after this past weekend Kaia was seen with a handsome mystery man in Los Angeles on Sunday.

The Vogue model had her arm around a dark-haired fellow who was smiling from ear to ear.

The boyish-looking pal resembled her ex-boyfriend Jacob Elordi of Euphoria and Kissing Booth fame. Kaia and Jacob were together from 2020 until 2021.

Kaia has been in the company of several men since splitting from Elvis actor Austin Butler late last year.

Last month she was spotted leaving the Vanity Fair Oscars Party with Charlie Walker.

The Chanel model was also seen with comedian Alex Edelman, 35; he was by her side after a performance in Evanston Salt Costs Climbing.

The star is thought to be in a romance with Bill Pullman’s dashing 32-year-old son Lewis Pullman.

The Saturday Night actress has been seen in the company of the Outer Range star Lewis many times and they have been affectionate. 

However, Gerber and Pullman have made a determined effort to keep their romance ‘under wraps.’

She started dating Lewis in December after she split from movie star Austin Butler.

A source told Us Weekly: ‘Kaia and Lewis have actually been together for a while now.

‘They started dating in early December. 

‘They kept it under wraps until the news of her and Austin’s split came out. Kaia and Austin have been broken up since October.’

Kaia and Lewis enjoyed a series of dates around Los Angeles in December, but the brunette beauty has tried to keep a low profile in recent weeks.

The insider explained: ‘In early December, Kaia and Lewis started seriously hanging out and were seen all around Los Angeles, but mostly on the east side.

‘Kaia would make sure to be in a hat to try and be unnoticed, but they would be at their favorite restaurants, bars and clubs, holding hands and showing PDA,’ it was added.

‘They were just frequenting crowds that didn’t really know them.’

Kaia and Lewis’ relationship has been ‘very natural and relaxed’ so far, the source also shared.

The runway star – who has previously dated comedian Pete Davidson – likes that their romance is more low-key than her previous relationships.

The source added: ‘They run in the same circle and have similar friend groups, and that’s how they were introduced. Kaia likes that this relationship feels low-pressure and that Lewis is a very low-key guy.’
