Taylor Ward has candidly shared that she decided to have a breast reduction after her ‘body changed’ following the birth of her baby daughter.
The influencer, 26, gave birth to her first child with husband Riyad Mahrez in July 2023, after tying the knot with the ex-Manchester City star the previous year.
Taylor and Riyad are set to appear in the second series of Prime Video’s Married To The Game, with promises even deeper access into the lives of the wives and girlfriends of leading Premier League footballers.
Speaking ahead of the new series, Taylor candidly shared that she wanted to offer her fans a glimpse at her process having a breast reduction, having first had implants when she was 21.
She admitted that she had doubts around letting cameras document the procedure, but stood by her determination to be ‘open and honest’ in the show.
Taylor said: ‘That was the part I was most sceptical about. I’m such an over-sharer, I got on really well with the producer of the show and we were just having a conversation one day where I said, ”I can’t film that day, I’m going to get my boobs done”, and of course he asked to film it!

Taylor also shared her reason for filming the process of her a breast reduction for the second series of Prime Video’s Married To The Game (pictured in the trailer)
‘I had to have a think about that but when I signed up for the show, I made the decision that I was going to be really open and honest, so it just felt right to share that experience.
‘I do share a lot of my life on social media, and I would never want to lie about those things or pretend that I hadn’t had something done when it would have been quite obvious, because my boobs were large before.
‘So I just thought, you know what? Let’s just share it. I don’t want to be here setting unrealistic beauty standards.
‘I personally don’t think there’s anything to be ashamed of by going under the knife or doing those things, as long as you made that decision for yourself, and it’s something you’ve thought long and hard about, and you’ve done the research. You’re enтιтled to do what you want with your own body. So that was my decision.’
Taylor added that she decided to have the breast reduction ahead of her lavish third wedding to Riyad in Italy, as she didn’t want to have ‘huge boobs’ when she walked down the aisle.
She added: ‘I’m so much happier. When you have children, your body changes so much. The person I was when I was 21, when I had them done in the first place, is not the person I am now. It was the right time for me, I wanted to have that more natural look.
‘On your wedding day you want to feel your best, and I didn’t feel it was right to have these huge boobs walking down the aisle. It’s something I’d wanted to do for such a long time. So I just thought, now is the time, and you can all come along with me.’
In Married To The Game’s first series, viewers saw Taylor’s emotional reaction when Riyad revealed they would be moving to Saudi Arabia.

But despite her fears at moving to the Middle East, the star said she’s now settled into her new life, but still speaks to her mother Dawn ‘three or four times a day.’
She added: ‘We’re kind of here, there and everywhere. I still go back to England for work so I’m not here for the longest stints of time. Currently, this is the longest I’ve actually been here. I’ve not been home to England since the beginning of December.
‘I just don’t unpack anymore. I have one case that I keep packed at all times with spare toiletries and plug adaptors and things like that because you just never know where you’re going to be, things are always changing.
‘But it’s nice to be in the sun, the people here are so lovely, and I’ve got my bearings a lot more now. I’ve got the kids in nursery, I found a really nice gym, just little things that make day to day life a lot nicer and easier.
‘Me and my mum speak on the phone three or four times a day. We’re so involved in each other’s lives.
‘She gives me advice about all sorts of things but when it comes to the TV thing she always says, ”Just be yourself and be honest because if you try and be someone you’re not, eventually the mask will slip, and people will see you for what you are anyway.”
‘If anyone’s ever watched her on Housewives, the one thing they can definitely say is that she’s definitely herself, even when she’s not being shown in the best light.
‘She’s never been anything other than what she is, and she never tries to be something she’s not. I think honesty is the best policy.’
Married To The Game returns to Prime Video on April 8th.
