Snow White opened with a disappointing $42.2 million at the domestic box office last weekend, and then it dropped a whopping 66% drop in its second weekend.
It’s currently taken in $66.9 million at the domestic box office after two weekends and $142.7 million worldwide.
This live-action rendition of the original 1937 animated classic hasn’t been a hit with critics either, with just a 40% score on Rotten Tomatoes.
Now a new report from ᴅᴇᴀᴅline is claiming that Disney will likely suffer a loss of $115 million from the film, when all is said and done.

The film’s projected total expenses add up to a whopping $410 million, including a $270 million production budget, $111 million in global publicity and advertising and $29 million for residuals and other expenses.
Those figures don’t include potential future revenue streams from things like Disney theme parks and/or cruises.
It’s also possible that the film could really explode when it arrives on the Disney Plus streaming service, though that remains to be seen.
While the critics clearly weren’t huge fans of the film, which featured new music from Oscar winners Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, fans seemed to enjoy it a bit more.
The audience ratings on Rotten Tomatoes were significantly higher, currently standing at 74%, though the underwhelming box office numbers speak for themselves.
It’s long been suggested that any sort of off-screen controversy can tend to disrupt a film’s box office prospects, and Snow White seemed to prove that true.

23-year-old Zegler came under fire almost immediately after her casting due to her Colombian and Polish mixed heritage.
Many fans were upset since the original Brothers Grimm fairy tale describes the character as having, ‘skin as white as snow.’
Zegler frequently defended her casting, but came under fire again for her stance backing Palestine while her co-star Gal Gadot was born in Israel and backed her homeland in the ongoing conflict.
The film also suffered yet another rather humiliating blow, with its dreadful 1.5 rating on IMDB currently one of the worst of all time.
