The actor, 65, revealed the happy news on Monday, five months after being diagnosed with stage 3 non-Hodgkin Lymphoma.

Coulier’s representative confirmed the health update to People, and his Full House co-star Candace Cameron Bure, 48, shared the news in an Instagram post.

‘I knew we would get this good news soon!! We all love you so much, Dave! I know Bob is smiling down big ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️’ she wrote.

In an earlier Monday interview with Parade, Coulier shared that a recent lymph node biopsy in his neck yielded very promising results.

‘Melissa and I waited for a week to get the biopsy results back, and there is no sign of cancer,’ he told the publication.

‘One of the few times in my life when “zero” has been a great number to hear,’ he added.

In the same interview, he revealed he was anticipating the results of a CAT scan to confirm if the cancer was ‘in the rear-view mirror.’

He added, ‘Today is the first day that I really feel like, “Wow, I’m feeling pretty darn good. I feel like myself.” And it’s today. So I get to celebrate that with you.’

In the interview, he also revealed that he became a grandfather. The actor confirmed that his son and his wife, Alex, welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, on March 27.

‘We’re so excited,’ he gushed to the outlet. ‘My son and his wife live in California, so we’ll be making multiple trips to see that little boy.’

The comedian went on to credit his grandson for helping him maintain a positive outlook on life.

‘I don’t know how else to view this other than with a positive atтιтude, especially because I’m in a position where I can inspire others,’ he explained. ‘A negative atтιтude doesn’t inspire anybody. Positivity, though, can take you a long way.’

Coulier’s wife, Melissa, revealed to Parade that her husband revealed he was ‘prepared’ to die following his sixth round of chemo.

‘Those conversations were obviously so tough,’ she added.

Earlier this year, she revealed the news to a local Detroit reporter for WYXZ that her spouse has ‘some really tough days.’

‘As the chemo has been accumulating it gets a little tougher and more difficult,’ she admitted in the interview, which took place in January.

Despite this difficult battle, she added, ‘He has such a positive atтιтude, and you need that in order to really fight it.’

‘Every morning, if he’s feeling up for it, we try to put on a song and do a little dance party with the dogs, because when you do feel good, you have to celebrate that too,’ she said.

She added that, ‘everyone is really rallying around” Coulier, and that he gets his strength from the losses he’s suffered in the past.

‘I think it’s just innately in him. He has had a lot of loss in his life when it comes to having to deal with cancer,’ she said, adding he lost his mother, sister and niece.

Coulier previously revealed that he shared the news of his diagnosis with his Full House co-stars via a group text.

The chat includes series creator Jeff Franklin and castmates Candace, John Stamos, Lori Loughlin, Jodie Sweetin, Andrea Barber, and Scott Weinger.

Coulier portrayed the fun-loving Uncle Joey on Full House from 1987 to 1995 and returned for its Netflix sequel, Fuller House, which ran from 2016 to 2020.

The St. Clair Shores, Michigan-born actor told People, ‘I didn’t want them to hear it from someone else, so I sent a text message out.’

‘It was just this outpouring of, “I will be there. You just name the time, and I know you’re in great hands with [wife Melissa] but what can we do?”‘ he said.

Coulier, who’s also worked on popular shows such as Robot Chicken, How I Met Your Mother and It’s Garry Shandling’s Show, said of the show’s inner circle: ‘It really is overwhelming the love that we have for each other.

‘We’ve been there for so many years for each other and it’s pretty remarkable.’

Coulier said that the bonds of the cast have been strong in the near-three years since the January 2022 death of Saget at the age of 65.

‘I think we value not only our lives together, but we value our lives,’ he said. ‘We value those good times and the positive moments that we’ve gotten to share. And I think that that spills over to other people, and it’s just positive.

‘There’s not many negatives when I’m with that group of people. It’s really just laughter and positivity, and we appreciate so much what we have in our lives and the people around us.’

Coulier previously revealed he was diagnosed with cancer after dealing with an upper respiratory infection.

Coulier portrayed the fun-loving Uncle Joey on Full House from 1987 to 1995 and returned for its Netflix sequel, Fuller House, which ran from 2016 to 2020; seen in 1989 with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olson, Saget, Stamos, Jodie Sweetin, and Candace

‘I went from, I got a little bit of a head cold to I have cancer, and it was pretty overwhelming,’ Coulier told the outlet. ‘This has been a really fast roller coaster ride of a journey.’

Coulier told People that cancer runs throughout his family, with the star losing his mom, sister and niece to breast cancer.

His older sister Karen is also going through cancer at the moment.

‘I saw what those women in my family went through, and I thought to myself, “If I can be just 1/10th of a percent as strong as they were, then I’m going to be just fine,”‘ he said.
