Teen Mom alum Mackenzie McKee and her estranged husband, Josh, have a lien on their $525,000 Florida home.

The lien was attached to the Palmetto residence for unpaid ᴀssessments on December 9, 2022, The Sun reported.

Mackenzie, 28, and Josh, 29, purchased the family home in March of last year.

The exes missed payments in July – the month they announced their split – and October 2022, consequently being hit with a lien of $740.48. 

It comes after the family was fired from the long-running MTV series.

Legal documentation state that the lien has not been released, the media outlet reported.

Before relocating to the sunshine state from Oklahoma, Mackenzie rented a $300,000 home in Florida’s Lakewood Ranch.

She later acquired the four-bedroom, three-bathroom house with then-husband Josh.

The home is described as having ‘beautiful tile and laminate floors throughout the main living area and kitchen as well as the master bedroom and office, which are both downstairs.

‘The kitchen has granite counters, tile backsplash, staggered white cabinets and stainless appliances. 

‘The owners also added pendant lights above the island as well as under mount lighting to the cabinets and crown molding.’

Additionally, the master suite boasts a walk-in closet, bathroom with granite countertops, dual sinks, and a walk-in shower.

The listing says about the outside of the home: ‘The home sits on a large corner lot and the owners installed a privacy fence. The backyard has plenty of room to install your own pool if you desire and you can enjoy your oversized screened lanai and extended patio.’

The housing community also offers residents ‘a resort-style pool with beach entry, poolside cabanas, clubhouse, fitness center, playground, and more.’

Mackenzie was booted from the popular Teen Mom franchise last year, following her use of a racial slur on social media. She also quarreled with castmate Cheyenne Floyd.

In February 2022, Mackenzie told the U.S. Sun, ‘MTV was there when my first child was born and they were a huge part of my mom. They always respected my mom and my mom always loved them.’

McKee was also prohibited from appearing on the Teen Mom spinoff Family Reunion.

She added, ‘It hurt and broke me how my mom gave them the last breath of her life, yet after I had opened up my life to them, when my voice didn’t sound like theirs, there was no more respect for me.’

McKee announced last summer that she and her husband Josh had split up after more than eight years of marriage.

She took to Instagram with a pair of images of the former couple to share news of their breakup.

The two share sons Gannon, 11, and Broncs, six, and daughter Jaxie, 9.

‘With all the messages I’m receiving and articles coming out, i wanted you guys to hear what’s going on from me alone,’ McKee wrote.

McKee said that sometimes ‘things work and sometimes, no matter how hard you fight, it just doesn’t work out. 

‘I am breaking my silence about Josh and I being done. I will always respect him as the father of my children but it’s time for me to find my happy.’
