Heather Rae El Moussa revealed she and her husband Tarek El Moussa, 43, are in couple’s therapy.
The former Selling Sunset star, 37, opened up about it on the Scrubbing In with Becca Tilley & Tanya Rad podcast last week, saying the issue of whether to have another child or not is the main one they are dealing with in therapy.
‘I never wanted to leave my son. I want to be with him all the time. I still do,’ Heather gushed.
‘He is, like, the light of my life. It makes me so happy. I’m like, “How could I not want more?” But my husband is very much done.’
The couple share son Tristan, two, while Tarek also has daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9, with his ex-wife, Christina Haack.
Heather said that it is ‘hard’ to disagree with the Flip or Flop star, about ‘what we want with our future’ and that is why therapy has been good for them so far.

‘We are in therapy, talking through things, and it’s just something that we never went to therapy together, which I wish we would have started it sooner because I think it’s such an amazing thing and it helps communication’
Heather and Tarek started therapy four months ago and go a least twice a month.

‘It just helps us, like, talk through what I’m feeling, and then, his feelings,’ she explained.
Age is the big reason why she doesn’t want to put off having more kids.
‘I’m 37. I’m turning 38 this year. So, for me, it’s kind of like now or never in a way, not because you can’t have babies older, but I don’t want to be 40 having babies still ‘cause it’s a lot,’ she shared.
‘It takes up a lot of your time, a lot of your life, and the kids are my priority over myself. So, I want to do it, get my body back. And it took a long time. It’s hard.’
Heather said she regrets not bringing up the subject of more kids with Tarek sooner after the birth of Tristan.
‘Postpartum, too, is really hard.’ she said. ‘I didn’t have depression, but you go through crazy hormonal changes.

‘You’re taking care of this little human that needs you. It’s not like you can just leave and go. They need you.’
Earlier this month, Heather shared that before she started filming Flip/Off with Christina, she was hesitant to get close to her husband’s ex-wife.
She also said that she feels Christina’s ex Josh Hall made the dynamic between the couples worse.
‘Christina and I got to know each other on a deeper level, where just co-parenting we didn’t,’ Heather told Realtor.com during an interview earlier this month.
‘And I think, of course, there were reservations at first, we were are all in a really good place in our co-parenting relationship that I’m like, Are we sure we want to put ourselves in this position, especially when Josh was involved? Is there gonna be fighting, is there gonna be negativity? Are Tarek and him gonna get along? Is that gonna cause problems between us and Christina?
‘So there was, of course, some hesitation. And I wanted to make sure she and I kept a good relationship for the kids.’
But as the two women filmed Flip/Off side by side, they got friendlier.
‘The first day that we filmed together. We had a great time, and we laughed, and she texted me after and she was like, “Oh, my God! That was so fun like you’re so fun to film with.”

‘And I was like, “Oh, you, too.” So it just got better and better every single time we filmed together,’ Heather said.
Heather and Christina talked about their friendship in a joint interview with Us Weekly in January.
‘We’re not besties hanging out all the time, but we’ve gone to dinner together and had a fun time. We actually talked for hours,’ Heather said.
Christina also said her relationship with Heather is ‘great,’ adding, ‘We text daily about the kids. We’re in a really good spot.’
