Lady Gaga fans branded Ticketmaster a ‘joke’ as pre-sale tickets for the star’s Mayhem Ball went live on Monday afternoon

Thousands were left disappointed after failing to secure tickets for her UK and Europe tour – with many claiming they were thrown out of queues after being identified as ‘bots’.

The singer, 38, will play three nights at London’s O2 Arena before heading to the Co-op Live in Manchester in what will be her first UK shows since 2022.   

She will also bring the ‘Mayhem’ to Mexico, Brazil and Singapore, Las Vegas, Seattle, New York City, Miami, Toronto, Chicago, Paris, Berlin and more. 

Lady Gaga will take to the stage in London on September 29, 20, and October 2, before she plays Manchester on October 7. 

But many trying to get their hands on tickets in the pre-sale on Monday were left raging as they complained of the site freezing and being kicked out of the queues for no reason.

They penned on X: ‘Ticket master should have put Lady Gaga tickets on sale on April 1st because their system is a joke.’,

‘Lady gaga presale is legit like the hunger games.’, 

‘It’s so fine I didn’t wanna see Lady Gaga in Manchester anyway.’,

‘How it feels not getting Lady Gaga tickets because AXS thought I was a bot.’,

‘waited over an hour to get into the o2 priority presale for lady gaga, got in and every seat I selected was unavailable and then bc it kept saying no to me I got kicked out for being a ‘bot’ f***ing kill me now.’

‘is anyone else’s co op live presale for lady gaga frozen? ticketmaster sort yourselves out.’, 

‘@TicketmasterUK is there something going on for the Lady Gaga Manchester presale…. I have been in the same position in the queue for the last 20 mins!.’

‘O2 lady gaga horrible presale, i changed device and after waiting in another queue for 20min first thing got called a bot…. just left depressed.’,

‘@TicketmasterCS Waited 40 minutes in presale queue for Lady Gaga tickets for this to show up when I got in to get tickets. I’m not a bot and didn’t have more than one tab open. Tried everything suggested and nothing worked! Absolutely useless and stupid!’

The general sale for all of the UK and European dates begins on April 3 at 12pm BST. 

Before the UK dates the musician will follow in the footsteps of Queen of Pop Madonna when she plays a huge outdoor concert at Copacabana Beach on May 3.

Madonna played to a record-breaking 1.6 million fans at the same location last year, and Gaga can’t wait to be reunited with her Little Monsters in Rio de Janeiro.

She posted to X: ‘It’s a great honor to be asked to sing for Rio–for my whole career the fans in Brazil have been part of the lifeblood of the little monsters. 

‘I’ve been dying to come perform for you for years and was heartbroken when I had to cancel years ago because I was hospitalized. 

‘Your understanding that I needed that time to heal meant the world to me. I am now coming back and I feel better than ever and am working so hard to make sure this show is one you will never forget. Get ready for MAYHEM on the beach.’   

A source previously told The Sun: ‘Gaga had been booked to play concerts in London and Manchester. 

‘The current plan is to play two gigs at London’s O2 Arena and then another up north. More dates are penciled in if the first batch sell out which obviously they will.’ 

Mayhem soared to the top of the UK album charts this month and also created three top ten singles – Abracadabra, Die With A Smile (with Bruno Mars) and Disease. 

The Chromatica Ball visited the Tottenham H๏τspur Stadium for two nights in 2022, but this will mark the first time that Gaga plays the O2 Arena since 2014, when she brought ArtRave: The ArtPop Ball Tour to the UK.

The shows saw her perform hits from her 2013 project Artpop, alongside classics such as Just Dance, Poker Face and Bad Romance.

The general sale for all of the UK and European dates begins on April 3 at 12pm BST 

She was due to head back to the UK in 2018 for her Joanne World Tour but had to pull out after suffering from chronic pain caused by fibromyalgia.

The singer, born Stefani Germanotta, previously revealed that her Chromatica Ball tour in 2022 was the first time she had performed without pain for years.

She has now rediscovered her love for live shows and will kick off the world tour in style by headlining the Coachella Festival in California next month.

Gaga will then head to Mexico City for two dates before performing a free show on Copacabana Beach in Rio de Janeiro, a gig which is expected to attract more than one million fans.
