Jessica Simpson shared the shocking revelation that she drinks snake sperm to help improve her vocal cords.
The TV personality, 44 – whose fans think she is plotting a ‘revenge’ reality show on ex Eric Johnson – got candid about the special Chinese herb cocktail in an Instagram video uploaded on Saturday.
It comes shortly after the star dropped her latest EP тιтled Nashville Canyon: Part 1 last week on March 21.
During the short reel, Simpson could be seen opening the lid to a small bottle and then taking a swig as she talked about how the drink was recommended to her by her vocal coach.
Jessica explained she discovered that snake sperm was inside the Chinese cocktail after looking up the ingredients on Google.
She received shocked reactions while telling some pals of the drink as she spent time at a recording studio – and further described the taste as ‘honey.’

In one song тιтled Leave, the star seemingly hinted that her ex Eric Johnson may have cheated on her following their heartbreaking split.
Some of the lyrics included: ‘What we had was magic/Now you’ve made it tragic/Giving her what you gave to me/ Now the well that you drank from is empty.’
Jessica also belted out, ‘Your weakness made me lonely/Unholy matrimony/Did you do to her what you did to me/Was she on her knees/She’s everything but me.’
In January, the singer announced her split from Johnson in a statement to People and shared: ‘Eric and I have been living separately navigating a painful situation in our marriage.’
‘Our children come first, and we are focusing on what is best for them. We are grateful for all of the love and support that has been coming our way, and appreciate privacy right now as we work through this as a family.’
The former couple tied the knot in 2014 and are also parents to three children: Maxwell, 12, Ace, 11 and Birdie, five.

The singer’s last album was dropped 15 years earlier in 2010 and was a holiday LP тιтled Happy Christmas.
A source previously informed DailyMail.com that the star had ‘already recorded a heartbreak album’ after her separation from Johnson.
‘It will be about her broken heart, so, yeah, I guess you can call it a revenge, a heartbreak album.’
The insider added, ‘When Jessica writes music, she pours her heart into it and has no filter, it’s very personal. So the album will really be about the struggles she has been through at home.’
‘It is super emotional and shares her side of the story. She has been working on the album for years, there is a lot in there.’
Earlier this month, a separate source informed DailyMail.com: ‘She is singing from the heart and there is a lot of pain there, she goes very deep. She has called it the “soundtrack to my soul.”‘
During an interview with People last month, she gave an update on their split and said, ‘I’ve grown up so much. I can handle so much. Maybe I’m just meant to love a lot of people in my life.’
The blonde beauty then told the outlet: ‘I don’t know why my heart gets tossed around but I’m one of the lucky ones. At least I have my children and I still have Eric. He’s still very much a part of my life and will always be.’

In regards to creating the album, Simpson explained, ‘Discovering this music is something I did on my own.
‘Thank God I had Nashville, it was just a way of me owning myself and declaring it,’ the Dukes Of Hazzard actress continued.
The designer notably recorded some of the EP while residing at her Tennessee rental outside of Nashville with her children.
Jessica added , ‘I am a woman now and I can do what I want and to have freedom in music – I think that’s what you’re going to feel in Nashville Canyon.’
Earlier this month, Simpson also took to the stage for the first time in 15 years during the SXSW Film Festival in Austin, Texas to sing some tracks from her EP.
She later gave a surprise performance at Luck Reunion and a TikTok user captured the moment that the singer got candid about confronting Johnson as their marriage imploded.
‘Like I said, I was out in Nashville and I had my heart wide open,’ she stated before performing the track Leave for the crowd.

‘I was in a very intuitive state and I had asked some very personal questions on the home front and I found out that my world had been turned upside down and that life was now very different.’
She then added, ‘I’m a very single lady. You know, when we open our hearts, sometimes we’re vulnerable and it just gets broken and maybe sometimes we forget that we’ve been broken for a really long time.’
Jessica then gushed about creativity and expressed, ‘But when we meet ourselves, when we write, when we sing, when we connect with ourselves, we find all the answers.
‘This song right here is kind of a heartbreak, pissed-off song. It’s called Leave,’ she concluded.
