‘Technically had a ‘day off’ Bonnie – my mum has her on a Wednesday now I’ve finished the radio.
‘So I had some work to do, Clark came through and we ended up going for lunch, which was amazing.
‘And I just did a bit of a appreciation post, ‘Oh it’s so nice to go for lunch and kind of not have her and be able to relax and not rush’.
‘I was feeling really positive, feeling really good – you know, quality time with Clarke, you know we do long distance it’s not that easy.
‘And then, somebody sent me a message saying, ‘When is Bonnie not with your mum hun?’
‘And I don’t know why but it actually made me so upset, like I had to hold back tears in my favourite restaurant and I think Clark was quite shocked at how I reacted.’
Explaining her reasons behind sharing the message she had received, Laura added: ‘I don’t wanna share this for sympathy or a reaction I just, I’ve thought about it and I just think, you know, on here I just say whatever is going on in my life.
‘And I shocked myself with my reaction, usually I’m just so unfazed now by any kind of negativity on comments or DMs, like weird DMs that I get.

‘But this one really cut me deep. And I was annoyed at myself that I let it affect me that much – I think that was what I was more frustrated about, that I let it ruin my day.
‘And I actually replied to the girl – she had a kid as well – and she came back with like more kind of pᴀssive aggressive judgmental comments.
‘And it’s funny I remember seeing something about Ashley James saying something about going on holiday without your children and people kind of troll you and I didn’t have that recently when I went to Dubai so I was shocked that I had it now just going for lunch.
‘So I think it just makes me think if a small comment like that can affect me so much what about other more vulnerable people or insecure people than me – or going through XYZ that makes them vulnerable in that moment – like how are they affected by others online?

‘I mean, obviously, we’ve spoken about trolling for years now, which is great to bring it up but I really thought I had it in the bag, I really thought I was alright and then this comment just floored me it really took me a lot to get over it.
‘And now – I don’t know if this was the reason – but my dad was going to have Bonnie this weekend because I have more work to do and now I’m feeling like I don’t wanna leave her and I don’t know if it’s because of that comment or, I don’t know.
‘So now I just don’t think I’m gonna take her to my dad’s. I’m just trying to understand what’s going on in my own brain here.
‘Oh mad, mad mum guilt going on. I actually also scrolled up and I think, what you’ll find is when someone says one thing over months and months they’ll have had similar pᴀssive aggressive comments about other things.
‘I think I’d posted when I went to pilates and she’d wrote, ‘Oh jumping on the bandwagon as usual hun’ I’m just like, ‘Uh what is the point in that?’ Like I think you all know by now I get so many lovely messages, ‘Oh you’re such a good mum’ and I’m sure you all – whoever is a mum – is as well.
‘I love being around Bonnie but it is amazing having time to yourself. And it’s just a struggle mentally, trying to figure out that balance.
‘I’m not that good at making decisions sometimes and it’s a constant decision. Even having a boyfriend now, Clarke, we want to have time together but then I want to be with Bonnie, but then I need to choose work. It’s like, how do you figure out your time?’
Her admission comes just months after she rushed Bonnie to hospital in November after she suffered a terrifying febrile convulsions at home.

She penned: ‘Feeling very grateful after a dash to A&E last night.
‘Luckily enough I knew what a febrile convulsion was from being crew but my goodness, it’s a different story when it’s your child and you have to drive to the hospital yourself.’

‘And it makes so much sense.’
