Pat Sajak is returning to take a ‘final spin’ as host of Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune in 2025.
The game show icon, who retired from the flagship Wheel of Fortune last June, will be back to host for the upcoming season of the primetime edition of the game show, according to press release from ABC.
He will make his triumphant return beginning on Wednesday, April 30, on ABC, with longtime colleague Vanna White by his side for the new episodes.
An ᴀssortment of actors, athletes, singers and comedians will be on hand to compete and help celebrate his final moments helming the popular game show.
The all-star lineup for Sajak’s last appearances include Cameron Brink, Josh Gad, Tiffany Haddish, Regina Hall, Rachael Harris, Ellie Kemper, Justin Long, Joe Manganiello, Katharine McPhee, Oscar Nuñez, Randall Park, Andrew Rannells, Sam Richardson, Matt Walsh and Rainn Wilson.

During his last hurrah, Ryan Seacrest will continue to host the syndicated version of the nightly game show after taking the reins from Sajak this past September.
Sajak announced he would be leaving Wheel Of Fortune at the end of the 41st season on June 12, 2023.
Seacrest was named his successor just a few weeks later.

About three months later it announced that White had extended her contract for additional two years to continue as co-host through the 2025–26 season.
In his final message, Sajak shared an emotional message to his longtime fans that aired on June 7, 2024.
‘It’s been an incredible privilege to be invited into millions of homes night after night, year after year, decade after decade,’ he said, in part, before adding, ‘And I’ve always felt that the privilege came with a responsibility to keep this daily half-hour a safe place for family fun. No social issues, no politics, nothing embarrᴀssing, I hope. Just a game.’
The Chicago native concluded by sharing, ‘What an honor to have played even a small part in all that. Thank you for allowing me into your lives.’
The popular game show, created by Merv Griffin, premiered on television way back in 1975.

Sajak stepped down as host of Wheel Of Fortune in 2024 after a run that began back in 1981
Sajak started hosting in 1981, and then White joined as his sidekick the following year.
Produced by Sony Pictures Television, Wheel Of Fortune went on to become the most successful syndicated program in the history of television.
In 2019, Sajak was recognized by Guinness World Records for having the longest-serving career as a game show host for the same show, surpᴀssing previous record holder Bob Barker
The new Celebrity Wheel Of Fortune episodes, that will air on Wednesday night, will be followed by the 2025 Jeopardy! Masters tournament, hosted by former WOF champion Ken Jennings.
