Susanna Reid has revealed that she went clubbing in Ibiza with her three sons last summer and ‘properly partied’ – but admitted she’s nervous for them to flee the nest.
The TV presenter and journalist, 54, revealed that she headed to the party island with her grown-up sons Sam, 22, Finn, 21, and 19-year-old Jack, last summer.
In a new interview with Woman&Home, she admitted: ‘I’m not really a pub-goer, but I go clubbing.
‘I went clubbing with them during the day and had the most amazing time. I stopped drinking in 2018 and I’m now predominantly teetotal.
‘I have a Buck’s Fizz on Christmas Day, I had half a glᴀss of champagne on my mum’s birthday and I have a drink once every couple of months – including a couple in Ibiza – but I don’t have pints at the pub like I did in my 20s.’
She added: ‘Being virtually teetotal hasn’t damaged my social life. In any case, in Ibiza, music is your drug!’

She joked: ‘My God, the amount of time I’ll have when the boys leave home. I’m going to have to go to Ibiza on my own.’
In the magazine shoot, Susanna looked incredible as she slipped into an array of dazzling ensembles.
She cut a glamorous figure in a sheer sage grown gown, which was embellished with shimmering details.
Then, she opted for gold as she posed for a cheeky snap in the bathtub, before slipping into two more stunning green dresses.
At the moment, Susanna still lives with her three boys in their south London family home, but knows it won’t be that way for much longer.
‘At some point, my boys will scatter to the wind,’ she said, ‘I used to imagine being sad when they leave. Now I just feel they are developing their own wings to fly.
‘I want to be around as much as I can because they really are about to go! ‘I’m enjoying my diminishing time with the children.’
The Good Morning Britain anchor continued: ‘Also, my parents are in their 80s – it’s my father’s 90th birthday this year – and I want to spend time with them as well.

‘I’m part of the sandwich generation, but it’s not a weight at all. It’s a privilege. I need them too, very much. We’re a very close family.’
However, she revealed her one strict rule, which is phone-free mealtimes.
She explained: ‘We eat together every night, and when you’re at dinner, you do not use your phone, even when someone says, ‘What was that TV programme? I’ll just check.’ No.’
Elsewhere in the interview, Susanna admitted she ‘loves ageing’ and considers it a ‘blessing’.
The presenter said: ‘I love ageing. Some people see age as a significant totemic number.
‘To me, my 50th was the day after I was 49. When you turn 50, you don’t suddenly leap forward in time.
‘Cliff-edge numbers mean zero to me. I just think, ‘I’m here still.’ Ageing is a blessing because just consider the alternatives.
Susanna then joked that her co-stars Richard Madeley and Ed Balls are her ‘TV husbands’ and gushed that she ‘loves working with them’.

‘Sometimes when famous people come in, they’ve got stars in their eyes because they’re being interviewed by him!
‘I read Richard’s agony uncle column with the boys. We decide what we would advise, and then I’ll read out Richard’s answer.
‘On Monday, if I’m in with him, in the dressing room I’ll say, ‘This is the advice we would give!’ I have a house that is lined with self-help books and I love them. I like to analyse and work out how I and other people tick. I enjoy that.’
She quipped: ‘You can ask Ed anything about politics – he knows everything. Then Richard is a proper daytime legend.
