Dua Lipa has announced that she is set to drop a new version of her hit Physical featuring Troye Sivan on Friday. 

The singer, 29, shared her excitement on Instagram as she celebrated five years since dropping her second studio album Future Nostalgia.

Troye was seen joining Dua on stage in Melbourne during the Australian leg of her tour on Wednesday night where the pair revealed they had recorded a ‘remix’ of her 2020 hit which ‘never saw the light of day’, until now. 

Dua told her fans: ‘I guess what a lot of people don’t know is, a couple of years ago we did a remix of Physical, which never actually got to see the light of day. 

‘So after five years I thought we could leak it, I have a USB with a song on and I’m going to give it to someone tonight’.

She was later seen heading into the crowd with Troye and asked one lucky fan, ‘can I trust you to leak it’ as she handed out the USB.

Also taking to her own Instagram account, Dua shared with her 87.3million followers a new snap with Troye backstage announcing the news. 

She wrote: ‘5 YEARS OF FUTURE NOSTALGIA ~ doesn’t even feel real!!!! Thank you for the memories that I have to last me a lifetime ~ keeping me dancing all around the world.

‘Grateful beyond words and thanking my lucky stars every day for music and the power that it has over me and the ability it has had time and time again to connect us all no matter where we are on this floating rock!!!! 

‘To celebrate this mᴀssive milestone in my life i’m sharing a version of Physical that @troyesivan and I worked on together years ago and it always felt like it needed an occasion and this feels like it’s the perfect time.

It comes after Dua showed off her sensational figure in a skimpy red and blue ʙικιɴι as she posed for sizzling Instagram snaps while in Australia. 

The hitmaker looked incredible in the tiny two-piece which boasted a star pattern and halterneck top and matching tie side bottoms. 

Dua held up a matching towel over her shoulder as she posed for selfies on a balcony and shielded from the sun behind a pair of chic sunglᴀsses.
