Good Morning Britain star Laura Tobin broke her silence on Thursday after she snapped at Richard Madeley in an awkward on-air moment.
The weather presenter, 43, hit out at the host, 68, after he asked a question following her report on an arctic blast that hit the US.
After Laura delivered an update on the weather for Donald Trump’s inauguration followed by a look at the UK’s forecast this week, Richard asked: ‘So is that freezing weather in Washington heading this way?’
Laura responded: ‘The freezing weather makes the jet stream stronger and then it will bring us storm weather by the end of the week.’
‘Oh really, so we could have snow by next weekend?’, Richard replied.
Laura hit back: ‘I literally just said that Richard. That’s literally just what happened.’

Richard giggled away to himself and asked: ‘Maybe some snow by the weekend?’ and made a gesture with his hands to make it look like snow was falling to the ground.
Laura sternly replied: ‘Not for us, no.’
Susanna, 54, laughed as she mocked Richard’s hand gesture of snow and Laura told viewers: ‘My next forecast will just be in mime.’
‘Laura, thank you very much indeed we’ll be paying attention next time definitely, Susanna added, attempting to diffuse the tension.
Now Laura has addressed the very awkward moment as she attended the Spring Ball and insisted there is no bad blood between the pair.
Laura told The Sun: ‘Well my mum text me and said “what was it that he did,” and I think it was that straight after I’d done the weather he said something like “so is it going to be a nice day,” and I was like ‘I literally just been speaking for a minute, have you not listened to a word I said.’
She added: ‘But actually I do love him because he is a big science geek because he always texts me about something science-y all the time.’
Richard has been a regular presenter on Good Morning Britain since 2017. The star has had a very successful career in daytime TV over the years.

Richard presented This Morning with his wife Judy Finnigan, 76, between 1988 and 2001.
The married couple later hosted Richard & Judy between 2001 and 2008.
The pair – who tied the knot in 1986 – haven’t been seen presenting a TV programme together for a number of years.
But earlier this month it was revealed that they are set to make a huge comeback.
There are reports that the duo might launch their own underwear line after trademarking their name Richard and Judy.
It comes after some fans will remember the moment when Judy flashed her bra by accident during the 2000 National Television Awards.
An insider told The Mirror: ‘Judy’s bra flash was perhaps one of the outstanding moments of their career and may have inspired the couple to consider underwear as an option – and clearly they still think so.
‘But it’s not the only product they’ll be able to put their name on and they could make a mint.’
Meanwhile Laura has been working with ITV since 2012.
The meteorologist originally worked for Daybreak, before it was replaced by Good Morning Britain.
Before her time with the public broadcast network, she worked with the BBC.
Good Morning Britain airs weekdays from 6am on ITV and is available to stream on ITVX.
