The celebrity version of the BBC show will see stars going head-to-head in the psychological game.
It is rumoured Daisy and her brother Charlie had to quit the series over her commitments to her family.
A source told The Sun: ‘Daisy May and Charlie were so excited about taking part but once the demands of the show became clear Daisy had to sadly accept it would be tough as a mum-of-three.’
‘The Traitors cast has to be completely off grid and can’t be on FaceTime every night, or nipping to see their children on a day off filming.
‘Everyone tried to make it work but Daisy obviously has to put her family first.’
Elsewhere, This Country is set to be ‘revived’ but not in the way fans may expect.
The three-series BBC sitcom last aired in 2020 and followed cousins Kerry and Kurtan played by Charlie and Daisy during their day-to-day life in Cirencester, Cotswolds, in a mockumentary style.
Charlie and Daisy May’s friend and co-star, Michael Sleggs, who played Michael ‘Slugs’ Slugette, sadly pᴀssed away aged 33 just three weeks before filming in 2019.

But comedy star Daisy has revealed there will be a surprising twist to her hit show Am I Being Unreasonable?.
The two beloved This Country characters, Kerry and Kurtan, are set to make a ‘crossover’ appearance in the new second series of Am I Being Unreasonable?.
Speaking on This Morning presenter Cat Deeley, Daisy said: ‘What I can tell you, you’re going to love and This Country fans are going to love this.
‘Kerry and Kurtan are coming into Am I Being Unreasonable? Season 2.
‘So it’s going to be a comedy crossover. So This Country fans you’ll be happy.’
She added: ‘Charlie is in it, as well as playing Kurtan, he also plays a Dutch man with a mullet and shell suit, but he was so bad at a Dutch accent that we had to write in in episode four that he’s not really Dutch.’
Am I Being Unreasonable? originated from a phone call between Daisy and her co-star Selin Hizli during the pandemic and first aired in 2022.
