Millie Mackintosh has revealed her daughter Aurelia accidentally fractured her nose.
The former Made In Chelsea star, 35, took to Instagram on Thursday to share a plethora of snaps of her horrifying injury, which resulted in her needing surgery.
Explaining her recent absence from social media and the incident that occurred, she penned: ‘If I’ve been quiet on here recently, there’s a reason why…Three weeks ago, Aurelia accidentally fractured my nose!
‘She threw her head back while I was holding her and the back of her skull hit me right in the middle of my nose. I heard a crack, went to get it checked, and ended up needing surgery at the end of last week to correct the fracture. Has this ever happened to other parents? Seriously a parenting low — but also, you kind of have to laugh.’
Millie, who shares daughters Aurelia, two, and Sienna, four, with husband Hugo Taylor, then went on to discuss the highs and lows of parenting amid her daughters’ difficult phases, while noting she also recently suffered a panic attack.
She continued: ‘Sienna is nearly five and has been having huge meltdowns and violent tantrums. We’ve been setting new boundaries at home and supporting her through the adjustment, and it does seem to be helping. I realised I wasn’t being firm enough — she thought she had all the power, and it just wasn’t a healthy dynamic.

‘I hadn’t had one in months, but this week I had a panic attack. I felt like I was going to pᴀss out, and for about three hours it kept coming in waves. The difference is, I knew what it was. I talked to myself kindly, breathed through the discomfort, and put ice on the back of my neck — which really helped. A year ago, this would have ruined my whole day, maybe even my week. I can see how far I’ve come.
‘Lately I’ve been worrying about my social media — is anyone seeing this? Is it good enough? Lots of comparison and self-doubt creeping in. I’d love your feedback — what do you want to see more of on my page?
‘And Aurelia is in a real tricky phase. Everything’s wrong — clothes are too itchy, the bath is too bubbly, pasta is too wobbly, her smoothie isn’t pink enough… You get the picture. Most nights I end up in her bed to get her back to sleep and fall asleep there too. I love the cuddles, but I miss sleeping through the night!’
Among her pictures, Millie shared a snap of her bandaged nose, as well as an image of her in hospital amid her surgery.
She also shared snaps of her children as she continued to recover from the painful accident.
Millie’s post was flooded with supportive messages from her fans, with many sharing similar stories of injuries accidently inflicted by their children.
It comes after Millie candidly spoke about ‘dropping the ball’ and forgetting about her eldest daughter’s nativity at school as she says – ‘it’s okay to f*** up’.
The TV personality appeared on the Mail’s Life Of Bryony podcast back in January where she discussed going sober more than two years ago after becoming an ‘angry’ drunk.

In a bonus episode from the chat, Millie also opened up on the time she make a mistake as a parent.
Millie revealed she dashed to her daughter Sienna’s nativity and managed to get there just as it was starting after completely forgetting it was taking place.
Recalling the situation, she said: ‘I forgot my daughters nativity. Her first one at school.
‘I somehow just missed it, I had so many things in my diary and she’d been talking to me about being an angel and then it just clicked and I was like s*** it’s today.
‘I felt awful and I was just like god I’ve dropped the ball, so I legged it there and when I got there it had just started and I didn’t get a seat but I was there standing at the back.
‘It’s brutally hard but you have to be kind to yourself, and I’m telling myself this as well.
‘You have to be kind to yourself and be like its okay not to love it every day, it’s okay to f*** up. It’s okay not to be a perfect parent. None of us are.’
