AJ Pritchard’s fiancée, Zara Zoffany, couldn’t hide her excitement as she went wedding dress shopping on Wednesday – just one week after the dancer popped the question.

The TV personality looked stunning in a cropped white vest top and blue embellished denim jeans as she held up a glᴀss of bubbly before browsing through an array of chic bridal gowns. 

Sharing an Instagram video with her 89K followers, Zara captioned the post: ‘POV you got engaged a week ago and you’re already wedding dress shopping!’ 

Alongside the post, Zara also hinted at where the couple might tie the knot, saying: ‘FACT: It take 9 MONTHS (the same as a child) to make a wedding dress. 

‘That is CRAZY – so it’s never too early to start looking … we have floated around the idea of winging it THIS August in Monaco … but who knows maybe good things come to those who wait & we do it properly next year (glᴀsses emoji) your thoughts ?’

The Strictly star, 30, was forced to reveal all about their secret engagement after Lisa Snowden accidentally let it slip on stage at the Smiley Charity Film Awards earlier this month. 

AJ popped the question in a very casual setting, filming TikTok videos in a quiet field – leaving Zara completely stunned.

Finally sharing his happy news, AJ, who started dating Zara in 2022, said: ‘SHE SAID YES! ❤️

‘Love. Life. Energy. We always give 100% to everything we do & our relationship is no different.

‘A: Pulling off this surprise? One of the biggest & best things I’ve ever done! Zara has a sixth sense & somehow knows everything before it happens. But this time… I got her! ✨ 

‘Z: He defiantly got me !! AJ is everything I have ever dreamed of & more so I knew this day would come but I thought in a year or so! You really can tell I had NO clue as my nails weren’t done.

‘A: If you know Zara like I do, this was the best reaction I could ever hope for. Seeing that pure joy, that moment of surprise… it meant everything.

‘Z: I’m not gonna lie, the first few minutes, it took me a second to realize you weren’t playing a practical joke on me! Not how I ever imagined reacting. My YES was quiet, because i couldn’t stop crying, but it was the most meaningful YES of my life…Truly swept off my feet.

While hosting the awards, presenter and model Lisa, 53, let slip the news and said: ‘I feel really bad. I’ve busted it haven’t I?’ 

She greeted the AJ warmly, saying: ‘It’s lovely to see you.’ 

AJ responded with equal enthusiasm, saying: ‘It’s lovely to be here, it’s fantastic.’

Lisa continued: ‘You’re such a big supporter of the Smileys. You’ve been supporting them for very many years, haven’t you?’

AJ replied: ‘Honestly, it’s fantastic to be here. And just every single film, every single charity has the chance to be seen in this scenario, and I think it’s really important.’

Then, in what turned out to be a huge blunder, Lisa probed: ‘And just on another note, a little birdie told me, are you engaged? Have you just got engaged?’

AJ laughed nervously, replying: ‘Officially no.’

Lisa quickly followed up: ‘Oh I’ve just put you on the spot.’

However, AJ then added: ‘But my fiancée is in the room somewhere up there with a lovely ring on so we are not officially out there but now we are officially out there.’

Lisa, realising her mistake, exclaimed: ‘It’s an exclusive!’ 

AJ, now fully embracing the spotlight, added: ‘This is an exclusive! I will now post the video of me and my lovely fiancée in Hyde Park getting engaged. It’s very romantic. It’s very cute. Yeah, it’s out there now, Zara wherever you are.’

Lisa, a bit flustered, said: ‘Whoops! Congratulations. Amazing.’

AJ responded: ‘Thank you so much. We are here for very important stuff but life is what gets you.’

Lisa reᴀssured him, saying: ‘You shouldn’t feel bad. You’ve got to celebrate everything.’

AJ laughed and said:’ I’ve gone warm now.’

Earlier in the evening, AJ’s fiancée, Zara, was spotted taking the tube to the event, while AJ arrived in a car.

Zara, a model and founder of an exclusive London social club, referred to AJ as ‘her boyfriend’ when speaking to MailOnline.

She said: I’m with my boyfriend AJ tonight, I’m supporting him as he’s giving out an award.’

AJ, meanwhile, shared his excitement for the evening: ‘I’m excited to be here tonight. It’s one of my favourite awards.’

The pair have been together for two years.
