ITV has suffered a crushing blow after THREE of the broadcaster’s biggest shows were brutally snubbed while Netflix and Disney+ storm the TV BAFTA nominations.
On Thursday the full list of TV Award and TV Craft Award nominations were revealed ahead of the prestigious ceremony, which will take place in London next month.
Shockingly three of the channel’s popular programmes haven’t been listed Emmerdale, This Morning and I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here.
BBC’s Casualty, ITV’s Coronation Street and BBC’s EastEnders are all up for the soap category.
Emmerdale is nowhere to be seen on the list.
Meanwhile the nominations for daytime TV don’t include This Morning.

And Ant and Dec’s I’m A Celeb hasn’t made the cut for the reality category either
Emmerdale didn’t make the cut for best soap – but BBC’s Casualty, ITV’s Coronation Street and BBC’s EastEnders are all up instead
Instead they are: BBC2’s Clive Myrie’s Caribbean Adventure, ITV’s Loose Wome, BBC’s Morning Live and BBC2’s Richard Osman’s House of Games.
But it’s not the first time this has happened as they failed to make the cut in 2024.
And Ant and Dec’s I’m A Celeb hasn’t made the reality category either.
BBC’s The Traitors, BBC’s Dragons’ Den, Netflix’s Love Is Blind and C4’s Jury Trial are up for the prestigious award instead.
Meanwhile other fans will be shocked to learn that Strictly Come Dancing has been snubbed of a nomination for the first time in the show’s 20 year history.
The BBC favourite had been nomination Entertainment Programme category every year since the rebooted version of the show launched in 2004.
It has won the award four times as fans saw the series take home the gong in 2016, 2017, 2020 and even as recently as last year in 2024.
The scandal-hit show has come under much scrutiny in the past year, after former contestant Amanda Abbington complained about her experience with her professional partner Giovanni Pernice.
Shortly afterwards, it was revealed Graziano Di Prima, a professional dancer on Strictly Come Dancing, was removed from the show after reports emerged that he kicked Zara McDermott, his celebrity partner, during rehearsals.
The biggest shock came as it was revealed Strictly Come Dancing has been snubbed of a nomination for the first time in the show’s history

Most recently, Wynne Evans, 53, was sacked from the Strictly tour earlier this year amid accusations he used inappropriate language to pro dancer Janette Manrara.
Meanwhile, Netflix phenomenon Baby Reindeer led the pack with an incredible eight nominations after it proved a global success following its release last year.
Richard Gadd who wrote and starred in the series about his own experiences of being stalked is up for Leading Actor, while his co-star Jessica Gunning is in the running for the Supporting Actress award.
In the Limited Drama category, Baby Reindeer will face ITV drama Mr Bates vs The Post Office, which was based on one of the greatest miscarriages of justice in British legal history, where hundreds of innocent sub-postmasters and postmistresses were wrongly accused of theft, fraud and false accounting due to a defective IT system.
Mr Bates vs The Post Office received a total of six nominations, while Disney series Rivals and Apple TV’s Slow Horses also had the same amount of nods.
Ant and Dec, The Traitors and Stacey Solomon’s Sort Your Life Out are among the nominees for best entertainment performance.
A total of 21 out of 44 nominees in the performance categories have received their first BAFTA Television Awards nomination.
Jane Millichip, CEO of BAFTA, said: ‘2024 was a standout year for television, testified by the 134 brilliant programmes nominated by BAFTA members.
