Leo becomes the main suspect in her investigation and Ema is forced to confront her own demons during the inquiry.

The series was released on Wednesday and has already gained stellar reviews as website Heaven of Horror dubbed it ‘binge-worthy’.

‘As is often the case with these Harlan Coben stories, it’s a cautionary tale in more ways than one’, the review penned.

‘Also, it has several twists and turns, so don’t be too confident you have it all figured out early on.’

After just being released for a day, the show has already slid into the streaming platform’s top 10 ranking.

Alongside the six episode, the reads: ‘After her husband’s death, a famed reporter’s obsession with a new case threatens to destroy her reputation in her quest for truth and redemption.’

And the show is perfect for fan of Netflix’s Fool Me Once, starring Michelle Keegan and Joanna Lumley.

The show has gripped audiences with its twists and turns since its release on New Year’s Day in 2024.

The eight-part drama is the latest of the streaming platform’s successful adaptations of novels by American mystery-thriller writer Harlan Coben.

Asynopsis read: ‘When ex-soldier Maya (Michelle Keegan) sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a ᴅᴇᴀᴅly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.’

Ahead of the show’s release, Harlan took to social media to confirm the series release.

He penned: ‘CAUGHT (Atrapados) comes to @Netflix on March 26. Beautifully filmed in Bariloche and Buenos Aires, kudos to @CheNetflix and @NetflixLAT teams.

‘PSA: Like with Squid Games or Money Heist, Netflix gives you the option to watch with English subтιтles or dubbing. Enjoy this teaser.’

The series also has also cast Fernán Mirás, Mike Amigorena, and Carmela Rivero.

The adaptation comes from director Miguel Cohan -who is also a showrunner- and Ana Cohan.

They also wrote the screenplays, alongside María Meira and Gonzalo Salaya.
