Jessica Alba indulged in a ‘healing’ trip to Mexico City with a group of friends amid her divorce from her longtime husband Cash Warren.

The former couple tied the knot in 2008 and welcomed three children together – daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, seven.

In January, Jessica announced that she and her husband had separated after she embarked on a ‘journey of self realization and transformation for years- both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.’

She filed for divorce on February 7 and is represented by Laura Wᴀsser, whose celebrity clientele has included such A-list names as Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Lopez, Kevin Costner and Angelina Jolie.

Now, as she and Cash embark on the legal proceedings to dissolve their marriage, Jessica has taken her mind off her woes with a vacation abroad.

Although she recently ignited romance rumors with comedy writer Alex Edelman, 35, he was not pictured in the Instagram album she shared from the holiday.

Late in the Instagram album, she posted a cryptic meme that indicated that her vacation had acted as an emotional balm for her 

‘Forever memories made – feeling connected, satiated and nourished,’ wrote Jessica, whose paternal great-grandparents were from Mexico. ‘#CDMX might just be my new home away from home,’ she added, using an abbreviation for the capital.

The meme read: ‘Healing wounds as a child,’ with a picture of a Band-Aid, and then: ‘Healing wounds as an adult,’ with the phrase: ‘Trip to Mexico.’ 

No doubt the dissolution of her marriage to Cash is going to get complicated as they have no prenup and there is plenty of money at stake.

In 2016, Forbes estimated Alba’s net worth was around $340 million due to the success The Honest Company, which she founded in 2011.

Five years later, they retracted the report and said with her ‘6% stake (including options)’ in the brand, she ‘would only be worth just under $100 million.’

‘That is far less than the $340 million Forbes estimated she was worth when we estimated her stake to be 20% and put her on our 2016 list of America’s most successful self-made women,’ the publication explained in their correction.

Like his wife, Warren has found success as an entrepreneur after launching his underwear and sock company, Pair of Thieves, valued at around $100 million.

Alba’s money comes not just from her high-profile acting career which includes films such as Into The Blue, Honey and Sin City. But it also is from her success as the founder of Honest Company.

The Honest Company, Inc. is a consumer goods company based in Los Angeles and founded by Alba, Christopher Gavigan, and Brian Lee. The company is valued at roughly $640 million.

Among their ᴀssets is a $10M Beverly Hills mansion that they bought in 2017.

When she announced her separation from Cash on January 16, Jessica wrote on Instagram that she had ‘been on a journey of self realization and transformation for years – both as an individual and in partnership with Cash.’

Alba and the 46-year-old nepo baby of Hill Street Blues alum Michael Warren – who didn’t sign a prenup – are said to be ‘extremely amicable’ amid the divorce and they both requested joint physical and legal custody of their kids.

On February 26, the Honest Company founder enlisted tattoo artist Daniel ‘winterstone’ Winter to ink the fine-line phrase: ‘Life is transformation is life.’

Earlier this month, Jessica proudly flashed the new tattoo she got after filing for divorce while attending a movie screening at the AMC Sunset Place in Miami.

She was at the screening of Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Road Trip on Sunday in order to support her gal pal, Eva Longoria Bastón.
