Katharine Foster showed off her incredible ʙικιɴι body one day before her 41st birthday.

The singer and actress, 41, flaunted her toned midriff and legs in a maroon ʙικιɴι – as she snapped a mirror selfie.

The former American Idol shared the snap on her Instagram stories, adding the caption: ‘Getting older, loving myself, loving my body and loving life! 20 year old self had no idea.’

The star enjoyed her last day as a 40-year-old by the pool, rocking her ʙικιɴι with a patterned bandanna on her head.

In February, Katharine shared a video of herself in a ʙικιɴι while going for a dip in the ocean with son Rennie.

Over the video, the star wrote a touching note to herself when she was 20.

In the video, Katharine talks about her fear of being alone that she used to have, as well as how some of her dreams came true. 

She also describes being a mother as her biggest accomplishment.

‘She doesn’t know yet that one day, she’ll hold a love so vast, so overwhelming, that it will make every other dream feel small in comparison. That nothing she ever accomplishes will matter as much as the tiny hand wrapped around her finger,’ she wrote.

One month after she welcomed Rennie, Katharine revealed that she that her ‘biggest challenge’ was ‘body-issue stuff’ during her pregnancy, noting that bulimia and disordered eating were things she has struggled with in the past and was afraid of suffering a ‘relapse.’

‘But feeling like there was a relapse after getting pregnant was really shocking and upsetting and concerning for me, because I was suddenly so obsessed with food, starting from this first trimester, and I had such a distortion of the way I looked,’ she said on Dr. Berlin’s Informed Pregnancy Podcast via People.

Katharine and David got engaged in June 2018 and tied the knot on June 28, 2019. The couple welcomed their son Rennie on February 22, 2021

Katharine revealed she had gained 40 pounds during her pregnancy.

She ended up reaching out to a psychiatrist, who told her that people who had had eating disorders previously and get pregnant and almost have a relapse is very common.

She said that after speaking to him and ‘talking through it,’ she felt a lot better in her second trimester despite still feeling ‘very obsessed with food.’ 

In October 2021 – eight months after she welcomed her son – Katharine revealed that she felt ‘at peace’ with her body.

‘I had this, wow, like this huge appreciation of what my body had just done and given me that I wish that I’d given myself a little bit more of that grace through the pregnancy,’ she said to E!. 

 Katharine and David got engaged in June 2018 and tied the knot on June 28, 2019.

The couple welcomed their son Rennie on February 22, 2021.

David also has five daughters from previous relationships, including a daughter named Allison that he had given up for adoption when he was 20.

He is also dad to Amy, with ex-wife B.J. Cook and Sara, Erin and Jordan with ex-wife Rebecca Dyer.
