Tina O’Brien has split from her husband Adam Crofts after seven years of marriage, insiders have revealed after weeks of speculation.

The Coronation Street actress, 41, and her personal trainer husband, 39, who have been in a relationship since 2011, separated three months ago after growing apart.

Friends have revealed: ‘Tina and Adam have ended their relationship and are spending some time apart. They moved house at Christmas and have decided to live separately for the time being.

The couple, who share a ten-year-old son Beau, are said to be ‘on good terms’ for the sake of their son but their differing lifestyles reportedly drove them apart.

The insider told The Sun: ‘Adam and Tina lead very different lives – he is really into his fitness, while she really enjoys going out with her mates and having a dance, which just isn’t for him.

‘It wasn’t an issue at first because they were head over heels, but as the kids have started to grow up it’s become more noticeable.

‘Adam likes a quiet life and unfortunately that just isn’t Tina.’

Tina – who plays Sarah Platt in the ITV show – first sparked split rumours when she shared a pH๏τograph of herself at co-star Colson Smith’s leaving party in Manchester last week. 

Taking to Instagram, Tina cut a glamorous figure in a red mini dress and posed with her bare finger on display, just weeks after jetting off on holiday without Adam.

And on Monday, Tina fuelled the speculation as she was seen with a notably bare finger while out for a cup of tea in Cheshire.

Tina also recently jetted off to Barbados with her 16-year-old daughter Scarlett, leaving Adam behind.

Tina has been in a relationship with Adam since they met in a Manchester coffee shop in 2011 and the couple tied the knot in a surprise NYE ceremony in 2018.

The couple share a 10-year-old son Beau Lee Stephen, who was born in 2014.

Tina also shares a daughter Scarlett, 16, with her ex-boyfriend Ryan Thomas, who she dated from from 2003 to 2009.

She met Ryan on Coronation Street when he starred as Jason Grimshaw, with him and Tina being romantically linked both on and off screen.

The exes have had a strained relationship since Ryan claimed Tina damaged his Range Rover with a baseball bat in 2022 after a furious late-night row.

On Monday, Tina’s ring finger was notably bare of jewellery as she stepped out for a cup of tea in Cheshire by herself

It was reported that Ryan had blamed his ex for damage caused to the wing mirror on his car, with a source at the time citing their ‘fractious relationship’.

During her marriage to Adam, last April, Tina was reportedly caught up in shocking brawl involving teenage girls outside her £1m house.

She was seen having her hair pulled and being punched during the fight on March 15 outside her £1 million home in upmarket Bramhall, Greater Manchester.

Tina was trying to defend her home from an unprovoked attack, with neighbours saying rival groups of girls ‘pre-arranged’ the fight outside. 

In an update afterwards, Police are said to have concluded that the soap star was ‘acting in self-defence.’

A source told The Sun at the time: ‘Police have concluded Tina acted in self-defence and hasn’t done anything wrong. Her version has always been she was defending her home and her family, and that appears to have been accepted.’

They added: ‘Tina is also tiny and not an aggressive person so is not the kind to be fighting in the street usually. These girls came to her road and to her house, and that’s the only reason she got involved. 

‘She thinks they were looking for trouble and — although it was not a good look — in a way she did the right thing.’

In a heartfelt post last year, Tina raved about her relationship. Taking to Stories at the time, she shared a Whatsapp chat snapsH๏τ with her beau, captioning it: “He’s my everything!” and making sure to tag her other half in the sweet tribute.
