Ella Morgan has said her ex JJ Slater’s relationship with Katie Price ‘makes me laugh’ as she spoke out on their failed romance.

The TV star, 31, was coupled up with JJ, 32, during their time on Married At First Sight UK but their relationship didn’t last past the show.

JJ is now in a relationship with Katie Price, 46, which surprised Ella, given he previously branded her ‘crazy’ on the show. 

Speaking on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, Ella said: ‘It does make me laugh because you say I’m crazy, and I love Katie but you’re with her now? 

‘So, I just wasn’t the right person for him, we haven’t had any contact since the show. I haven’t seen him since the show. We were texting before the vow renewals and I knew he wasn’t feeling it.

‘I didn’t get over JJ for, I’d say it took me a good six to eight months to get over him. I’m fully over him now and I wish him the best, I wish Katie the best, if they’re happy, they’re happy.’

Speaking on Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk podcast, Ella said: ‘It does make me laugh because you say I’m crazy, and I love Katie but you’re with her now?’ 

Ella told how JJ did not know she was a transwoman when they first but he took it well when she told him off camera.

However, Ella thinks JJ was worried about what his friends and family would think when they found out he was dating someone trans.

She said: ‘Looking back, was there that emotional connection? I think there was a lot of fancying and being Sєxually attracted to someone. 

‘Sometimes when there was no cameras, he said I was too loud for him. He said I’d go out for drinks and then take out my anger on him. 

‘I wasn’t the nicest and I think I was a hurt person and hurt people hurt people and that’s what I did. He was worried how the public would portray him and what his friends and family would think.’

Ella added she felt like she was ‘living this fairytale’ when she was with JJ but added: ‘He’s in a relationship now and I don’t want to be with him and I’m sure he doesn’t want to be with me.’ 

After MAFS, Ella took part in Celebs Go Dating where she got into a relationship with Alex James Ali, however they later split up after rumours of infidelity. 

Speaking on Olivia Attwood’s So Wrong It’s Right podcast, she said: ‘The relationship wasn’t… look I don’t want to bad mouth him too much but obviously there are allegations in the press that he’d cheated and was messaging other girls.

‘I had some messages from some girls saying that my boyfriend at the time had been messaging them. I gave him the benefit of the doubt. If I’m completely honest… I don’t want to talk about it too much and get upset because I am over it.’

Ella continued: ‘The breakup was really hard because I was falling in love with him. I told him I loved him. I’m sad because I don’t think I was treated very nicely.’

She lifted the lid on how the relationship seemed online, with Ella and Alex being pictured at numerous events together and posting countless loved-up snaps.

The MAFS star candidly admitted: ‘I’m disappointed in myself that I portrayed that my relationship was perfect. Everyone would come up to me and say ‘Where’s Alex?’

‘I’ll never do that again. Anyone that I date now whether they’re in or out of the public eye, I won’t do what I did with Alex in terms of being so public and I guess I’m not gonna lie to myself again if I see a red flag.

‘I feel like there was pressure on me. Everyone just loved us together. My comments were always amazing, everyone loved seeing me happy because I think people were rooting for me but I will never be fake as s*** like that again.

‘I think I faked that relationship, how it actually was, on social media, and I’ll never do it again.’
