Maya Jama enjoyed a night to remember with her new love interest Ruben Dias on Sunday.

The Love Island host, 30, was in the stands at José Alvalade Stadium to see her footballer beau win 5-2 for Portugal in their clash against Denmark for the Nations League quarter-final second leg.

And after the win, Maya celebrated with Manchester City centreback Ruben, sharing a social media snap of their romantic fireside retreat at 3:30am. 

The snap is believed to have been taken at the footballer’s Cascais region home, with a vast swimming pool and fire pit glimpsed in the pic.  

The brunette beauty has been reported to be secretly dating the footballer after the pair met at the European Music Awards in November.

After fans previously criticised her for being a distraction to Ruben’s game, Maya, who watched Sunday’s action from a plush hospitality box with friends, proved to be a good luck charm.

The presenter made merry with a friend and glᴀsses of wine, with Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner Georgina Rodriguez also spotted supporting her man nearby.

Maya’s trip comes just over a week after she danced around in a box at the Etihad Stadium to take in Manchester City’s 2-2 draw with Brighton. 

Rumours surrounded the pair’s romance ntensified after Ruben shared a pH๏τo from his New Year celebrations in Ibiza, of two people gazing at a sunset with their faces obscured, which fans became convinced was Maya. 

In February, the pair were spotted wearing matching £5,050 ‘LOVE Bracelets’ by Cartier. 

And last week, Maya added fuel to speculation that her relationship with the Portugal player is taking another serious step as she hinted she is taking Portuguese lessons.

Maya’s latest show of support comes after she opened up on her relationship preferences, admitting she is not willing to continue a romance that isn’t adding anything to her life.

She declared that she is ‘really, really happy’ where she is and only wants to date someone who can make her even happier.

In a brutal blow to exes Stormzy and Ben Simmons, Maya added that she is a ‘big leaver’ who ‘knows what she likes’ and hasn’t hesitated to walk away from past relationships that weren’t satisfactory.

While she confessed that dating in the public eye is a ‘ball-ache’, teasing that she’s had to be secretive with her love life, amid her rumoured new romance with Ruben.

Speaking on video series Now You Know with Julie Adenuga, the TV host revealed what she looks for when it comes to a partner.

Maya said: ‘I’m such a lover but I am a big leaver as well. I know what makes me happy and I know what I like — and this is no disrespect to anyone I’ve been in a relationship with, but if it’s not that then I will leave it.’

The comments came just days after Gary Lineker publicly confirmed Maya’s new romance with the hunky Portuguese footballer. 

While neither had made the relationship public, football star Gary took matters into his own hands last week as he referenced their romance.

Following the announcement that Maya would serve as a manager in the Baller League alongside Juventus forward Alisha Lehmann, she appeared on their social media to react to the news.

She jokingly called Micah Richards her ‘nemesis’ and made fun of his age as they played up their rivalry.

In January, Dias posted a pictured that showed two people watching the sunset, with fans suggesting it was him and Maya

Micah told her: ‘You disrespected me, didn’t you? You said I look 40 years old, I’m only 36! You do me wrong man. How old are you?’

Maya laughed as she replied: ‘I’m 30 actually, on the dot. Just 3, 0, new, fresh 30. I just got there.’

However, Gary suddenly appeared in the frame to interrupt the pair’s playful banter and seemingly let slip confirmation of Maya’s romance with Ruben.

He said: ‘Micah, stop flirting and get her boyfriend to play for us!’ sparking a burst of laughter.

While Maya seemed to be taken aback by the public reference to her relationship, as she shouted: ‘Get out! This is why I don’t talk to old people. They’re so weird’.
