Lola stepped into Chyna Phillips’ role and harmonized with her mom and aunt Wendy Wilson on the hit song from the 1990s.
Carnie, 56, celebrated the moment on Instagram, sharing a pH๏τo of her daughter receiving the golden ticket that advances her to the Hollywood rounds of compeтιтion.
‘I couldn’t be more proud of our @lola.bonfiglio,’ her caption began. ‘Her pure beautiful voice shines so bright!!!!!
‘To witness your child be brave like that and sing from her heart…and have three incredible artists tell her that her voice is pure and gorgeous …shows us that her love for singing is what it’s all about,’ she wrote, adding a note of thanks to everyone who supported her daughter.

Lola surprised the Idol judges and audience when she brought out her famous family members to sing with her before officially starting her audition.
Carnie, Wendy, 55, and Lola’s harmonies on Hold On left Carrie Underwood, 42, feeling emotional.
‘I don’t know how to proceed now,’ the Jesus Take the Wheel singer teased.
Underwood noted that Lola’s talent was in her blood, saying, ‘You can tell that that is a thing with families, that everybody is genetically designed to sound good together.’
When it came time for Lola’s actual audition, she impressed the panel of judges with her take on Kacey Musgraves’ Rainbows.

Carnie is the daughter of Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson and she and Bonfiglio married in 2000, welcoming Lola in 2005 and Luciana in 2009.
Carine talked about her daughter’s big moment in the spotlight with ET, saying she felt Idol was the pefect fit because it gives the contestants such a wide variety of musical artists to work with.
‘Lola is not this big Broadway-type singer, but she’s got something so honest and pure and lovely — sort of like this Joni Mitchell, Kacey Musgraves type of thing,’ Carnie told the outlet. ‘That’s how I compare it.’
She added that Lola has been expanding her songwriting, as well, ‘she’s really getting into her artistry.’
Carnie talked about the advice she’s given her daughter, 35 years after she catapulted to stardom alongside her sister Wendy and Chynna Phillips.
‘When you do this, just be grateful for the opportunity, A. And B, I think you’re gonna find yourself as an artist through this process.
