Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash have revealed that they are not shying away from showing their rows on their new reality series, as they insisted they want to show viewers both ‘the highs and the lows’ of their relationship.
The TV personality, 35, and the soap star, 42, have opened the doors of Pickle Cottage for the cameras to film a ‘Kardashians’ style TV show focused on their family life.
Together they share children Rex, five, Rose, three, and Belle, two, while Stacey is mum to sons Zachary, 17, and Leighton, 12, from two previous relationships, and Joe also has a son Harry, 16, with his ex-partner.
And while they appear to have the perfect family life and are one of the strongest relationships in the industry, the couple insist that their marriage ‘is not all a bed of roses’.
Speaking to OK! ahead of their show, тιтled Stacey & Joe, airing on the BBC on April 1, they revealed viewers will get to witness them arguing on camera.
One episode sees Stacey devastated by Joe not showing up at an important meeting, leaving her juggling caring for the babies while trying to plan the launch of her own perfume.

Despite begging him not to let her down beforehand, the EastEnders star is five hours late after going fishing with his friends.
Stacey and Joe explained that they didn’t want to cut the argument like other couples would be tempted to do.
Joe said: ‘So many people represent their lives as being so perfect on Instagram. It’s our responsibility to show the real – the highs and the lows. It’s not all a bed of roses. Sometimes we argue.’
While Stacey added: ‘What you see is what you get. What we’ve learnt about each other is that we’re not a perfect couple. We’ve never said we’re a perfect couple, but you get to watch yourself back, which is something that doesn’t happen often.’
The pair also explained how watching their ‘bickering’ back helps them learn about their faults and where the other is coming from, with them saying it’ been more effective that couples’ therapy.
Stacey said: ‘There are definitely things in our communication where we’re like, “Wow, we could do that better. And we could talk about this more.”‘ I am trying to pick my battles. Sometimes I will watch myself and go, “Oh, gosh, you didn’t really need to pick up on that.” There are bigger issues. That’s something that I definitely recognise now.’
While Joe said he realised how lucky he is to have the ‘most amazing family’ and that he needed to work on listening more rather than being ‘so defensive’.

Recognising the famous couple, an onlooker claimed they saw Joe storming down the road outside Westcliff on Sea train station in EsSєx while furiously puffing on a vape after the argument.
They revealed: ‘Joe came out of a building on his own and stormed off down the street, he looked upset and was sitting on some steps for a while.
‘Stacey came out of the building in tears and she looked really emotional, she was hugging someone.’
The video showed Stacey embraced in a тιԍнт hug before another member of production went to check on Joe.
The onlooker added: ‘About 15 minutes later Joe was having an animated talk with the man. Eventually Stacey walked towards Joe in the car and shouted something. They ended up leaving separately. It all looked very tense.’
The pair met when Stacey was crowned the winner of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! in 2010 when Joe, a former jungle winner, worked on the ITV2 spin-off series Extra Camp.

They first sparked rumours of romance in January 2016, when they were spotted looking very close to each other in EsSєx.
The couple confirmed the rumours later that month, when Stacey revealed that ‘It’s going really well… We’re having fun, spending time together and getting to know each other’, prompting Joe to say of his new girlfriend: ‘She’s lovely, she’s an amazing person… I’m really lucky.’
The couple announced that they were expecting their first child together in February 2019.
In July 2022, they got married in the grounds of Pickle Cottage and the following February, they announced the arrival of their third child together.
