Christine McGuinness looked nothing short of sensational as she celebrated turning 37 on Thursday. 

The model looked incredible as she put her tanned pins on display in a pair of distressed blue denim shorts. 

Christine paired the shorts with a busty black Vivienne Westwood T-shirt, featuring short sleeves and a trompe l’oeil print. 

She further accessorised with orange framed Ray-Ban’s, gold hoop earrings, a heart initial necklace, and a stack of beaded bracelets. 

To complete the look, Christine styled her blonde locks up in a low messy bun and sported a pair of black Vivienne Westwood high-top canvas trainers, which retail for £255. 

The ex of Paddy McGuinness, spent her birthday lapping up the gorgeous weather before visiting a coffee shop with her loved ones, where they presented her with a school cake birthday cake and red numbered candles.

Christine looked in great spirits as she proudly held up her cake before making a wish and blowing out her candles. 

Sharing the snaps to Instagram, Christine captioned the post with: ’37 (celebration emojis)’ 

‘These legs eleven getting blessed with sunshine straight out of heaven! ✨☀️ #BirthdayBliss.’ 

She continued: ‘Ive had the most beautiful day, thank you so much for all of your messages ♥️ And I’ve had so many about the award I won last night. I am so grateful but very very overwhelmed and slowly processing life right now!’

‘I’m going to kiss my babies good night and try and relax my neurospicey brain because she’s far too overstimulated for me right now!’

She concluded: ‘I will share more tomorrow (love heart eyes emoji) Thank you Thank you Thank you’ with several kiss emojis. 

It comes as her ex-husband Paddy put their marital home on the market for £6.5million and Christine is furious as she believes he has inflated the price so it doesn’t sell.

Her friends now fear that she will have to continue living with the former Top Gear host for ‘the foreseeable future’ because buyers will be put off by the cost of it – which is a staggering £4.4million more than what they paid for it in 2020.

MailOnline can also reveal that relations between Paddy and Christine are at ‘an all-time low’ as she desperately hopes for a fresh start after telling him in recent weeks that she could no longer live with him following their divorce which was finalised last year. 

One source close to the warring couple says that Paddy has even told his estranged wife – the mother of his three children Felicity, eight, and 11-year-old twins Leo and Penelope – not to discuss their situation with anyone.

‘It is so overpriced, Paddy doesn’t want to sell which seems like another tactic by him.’

‘It’s insane that Paddy would put the house on the market for that much, they only bought it five years ago and house prices have hardly gone up at all since then,’ said an insider familiar with McGuinnesses.

‘The house is on for two thirds more than what they paid for it, it will never sell. It all feels a bit like Paddy wanting to control the situation and keep Christine living in the house with him for longer.’

‘Christine made it clear that she can’t live with him anymore but now it looks like she will have to for a long time yet.’

Friends of Christine fear for her happiness now after the couple announced their split in the summer of 2023 when she found a new lease of life taking part in the ITV reality show The Games back in 2022.

They have noticed how she has become increasingly sad as she continued to keep her home happy for the sake of her children, all of whom have autism.

One pal said: ‘It feels like Christine has been living through a nightmare and things have become bad between them.’

‘Paddy doesn’t like Christine discussing their business with anyone. She hoped that selling the house might put an end to this but she won’t be celebrating until they have a sale in the pipeline, and even then she’ll be anxious that it all goes through and won’t properly celebrate until it’s sold.’

MailOnline revealed earlier this week that the Cheshire mansion has gone on the market a week after The Mail on Sunday told how Christine had told Paddy she no longer wanted to live in the house and that they should sell up.

Just a day before, in an interview with the Daily Mail’s Weekend Magazine, Paddy discussed his living situation with Christine and intimated the pair would continue staying under the same roof.

He said: ‘Yeah, still the same. It doesn’t feel tricky. I think it would if you lived in a toxic household – God forbid.’

When asked how their unique living arrangement works, Paddy added: ‘If I’m at home with the kids it’s great. If I’m working and Christine is at home with the kids, that’s great.’

‘If we are there together, that’s fine. As long as my children are happy, that’s all that matters to me.’

The mansion features its own gym, a huge kids’ playroom containing soft play equipment, his and hers dressing rooms, an orangery and a kitchen diner.

Its seven bedrooms have six en suite bathrooms and the house has been described by estate agents handling the sale as ‘tailor-made for hosting family and friends’.

Paddy is hoping to make a £4.4million profit after purchasing the home for £2.1million back in 2020.

He and Christine spent months renovating the property before moving in to cater for the needs of their young family.

This is the latest fallout between the pair who wed in 2011 at Thornton Manor in Cheshire.

Christine’s friends are ‘devastated’ since they don’t think she got a fair settlement from Paddy – who she had been dating since she was in her late teens. 

Those close to Christine also claim that he made her sign and non-disclosure agreement which stops her from discussing him or their marriage but he profusely denies this.

One source said: ‘We all felt that Paddy was dragging out the divorce and was trying to delay it until next year. As far as we are concerned, he didn’t seem to be in a rush to get divorced and split their money because the situation suited him. She was in the home with the children and he would come and go as he pleased.’

‘But, after everything that had happened, Christine just wanted to be free of him so she accepted one of the first deals on the table.’
