Selena Gomez and fiance Benny Blanco got candid about their relationship and even discussed feeling insecure as her ex Justin Bieber and wife Hailey were mocked by fans for ‘recreating’ their Disneyland trip. 

Selena , 32, and the 37-year-old record producer released a behind the scenes clip from their upcoming music video for Younger And H๏τter Than Me off of their upcoming collaborative album.

In the clip the former Disney star discussed the meaning of the track as she got candid about how she feels alienated despite her mᴀssive fame.

Selena explained: ‘The song can have many different meanings and I think that is how I feel.

‘It reflects everything that I have felt before if that makes sense. I’m so bad at parties. I am socially awkward. I sit in the corner and talk to the one person that’s usually alone and, um, and I don’t think I have always fit in. But I don’t mean that in a sad “oh my God poor me way” I mean it in, like, I don’t know.’

Later on in the clip – which featured several intimate scenes of the couple – Benny got real about self-doubt and uncertainty.

‘We are always so hard on ourselves. And I think that this expresses that and that to me it just comes so full circle because you are a person that obviously are not afraid to hide it, you feel all of those things.’

Selena looked at the camera and earnestly replied: ‘Oh yeah.’ 

The A-lister took to her Instagram to promote the clip as she shared a snap from her on set with a lengthy caption.

She wrote to her 421million followers: ‘Through the creation of I Said I Love You First, benny and I got to explore so many sides of ourselves as individual people and as a couple. I love the Sunset Blvd side which is fun, carefree and boldly in love, and I equally love the softer, quieter, more introspective parts of us. You can hear that side in Younger and H๏τter Than Me.

The Peaches hitmaker, 31 – who held a somber expression during a VIP tour at the amusement park in Anaheim – was not only joined by the Rhode founder, 28, but also The Kid Laroi at ‘the happiest place on Earth.’ 

The singer recently uploaded images to his Instagram page that captured moments from the trip to Disneyland – but some fans were quick to point out similarities to Gomez and Blanco’s past visit to the amusement park.

Last month in February, the former Disney channel actress and the record producer were spotted at the amusement park together. 

In a video shared to TikTok, a social media user created a montage to show each couple at Disneyland – and going on the same rides as well as wearing similar outfits.

The reel kicked off with Selena and Benny having a blast on the Cars ride and then quickly jumped to Justin and Hailey on the same ride. 

The fan also pointed out that Gomez donned black Minnie Mouse ears with a red and white polka dot bow – which the model also wore during her recent trip to the park with the music artist. 

Justin shared a pH๏τo on Instagram which was a selfie as both he and Hailey had a blast on the Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters ride – with the TikTok clip also showing Gomez and Blanco on the ride as well during their separate trip.

Social media users jumped to the comment section to share their own thoughts, with one penning, ‘The same ears got me trippin like whattt there’s so many to choose from.’

TikTok user Courtney Presto had shared a video last month on February 14 where she seemingly mocked a pH๏τo of Selena and Benny.

The image came from their story for Interview Magazine’s March 2025 issue which showed Blanco posing with Gomez’s feet resting on his cheeks.

In the caption, Presto wrote: ‘This is the WORST. Sorry to do this to everyone but I had to look at these pH๏τos so you do too. I genuinely can’t decide which is the worst.’

Courtney then claimed that Hailey had liked the clip – prompting social media users to share their thoughts. 

However, Hailey broke her silence at the alleged ‘dig’ when a representative told Us Weekly, ‘This never happened.

A few days later, he sparked concern among fans once again when he shared pH๏τos of himself smoking from what appeared to be a bong.

The Baby singer had also shared a video to social media of himself smoking what appeared to be a joint.
