Strictly Come Dancing’s Nikita Kuzmin shut down Richard Madeley as he was left taken aback by a very personal question live on Good Morning Britain on Thursday.
The 27-year-old, who is from Ukraine, appeared on the ITV show to talk about his time on Celebrity Big Brother.
Nikita, who has been a professional dancer on Strictly for the past four years, appeared on the 23rd series last year – and placed second behind reality star David Potts, 31.
But Richard was keen to known how his loved ones are doing in Ukraine – given how they are currently in the middle of the war.
The dancer looked taken back, before curtly replying: ‘They are okay.’
Richard pressed on: ‘Are they heavily effected by what is happening, or are they managing to live a normal life?’
